Product Rating Product Review I was more than pleased with this amp. I’ve always love the old block letter 5150 and this is like the perfect update to that amp. The clean channel is beautiful. I know folks rag on the blue channel but i actually like the option if having a lower gain channel to switch between. The sound is just like the headline percussive and articulate. Could not be happier with this purchase.

Product Review This amp is amazing. Does everything you want. Three channels, foot controller just fantastic. My only concern was I live in Florida and amp was sent from Reno. But when it arrived everything was fine. Well packed. As usual Eric was great, answered all my questions. And AMS set me up with great payments. Extremely happy. Thanks AMS.

Product Review The packaging was good, what I am mostly impressed with is and I have purchased many amps over 30 years is this amplifier came with a speaker cable, which I thought was very nice of EVH, but of course most of all was the tone! Great all around from clean to heavy at the moment I am only using channel 1 and 3. Built like a Tank looks and plays beautifully little pricey, but worth every penny. Now I just have to sell my Mint Marshall JCM 900 and a 1st generation Peavey 5150 because they are no longer needed thanks AMS and EVH!

Product Review It's sounding great and looks great. The tubes in the last one i bought from a different distributer stopped working after a week or two so hopefully this one doesn't have the same issues.

Product Review Amp looks and sounds nice but I have 9 cracked knobs on the front. I read another guitarist mention that EVH released a run of defective plastic knobs which are brittle. I must have been lucky enough to get one from that run of amps

Your general opinion of this product. I love 5150's and had been waiting forever to get my hands on one of the 5153's. Literally everything i could ever want in an amplifier. Quality is standard. Very well made modern amp. Not a super tanker like old marshall's and ampegs, but would withstand normal gigging. BEST GUITAR TONE EVER. Imho I believe this to be the best modern amp by far. I play metal/hardcore but i know it can literally do anything. I have let pop/rock/punck/indie bands borrow it, and they had no complaints whatsoever. Great amp, and its not ungodly expensive.

Built like a tank, This puppy is huge and built with high grade quality wood.. No issue at all, the best! Your general opinion of this product. If your think about pulling the trigger do it!!! Worth every dime. Thick and Heavy. This beast does it all, dark to bright, even the clean is crisp. The black is the best if you ask me, I wanted to sleep on it. Easy to setup and great!

I bought the Fender EVH 5150 III, with just the EVH 2x12 Cab. This is heavy duty and certainly road worthy. Just sold my JCM 800 because I no longer need it. Your general opinion of this product. This amp is my favorite amp. The three channels with separate tone gain and presence gives so much more control than anything else I have ever used. You can go from a beautiful clean tone to a solid heavy crunch at the same volume then up a notch on the third channel to punch the leads up. This amp also has the best sustain I have ever got from any amp.

I've had the unit for 2 months and so far I've had no complaints. Built like a tank. I have not owned the unit long enough but so far it's been awesome. Your general opinion of this product. I recieved 5150III head, (Along with the 5150III 4 x 10 cabinet) late on that day. i was totally excited to get it unboxed and set-up and within 30 minutes the tubes were glowing and my Mockingbird Special X was plugged in. I chose the white Head with the white cabinet and I'm glad I did. This rig is absolutely beautiful in white and saw no cosmetic defects such as scuffs or loose laminent or grill cloth. Powering up the rig gave me the sense of standing next to a drag car idling on the starting line. I could tell right away this rig was a beast! The head is pretty heavy. Cab is heavy too. The footswitch has highly iluminated channel and effects loop switches which are pleasing visually. Awesome tone. Best sounding amp I've ever heard bar none. All settings I've explored have been rich and clear. Even with channel 3 each note rings clear when playing chords at full gain. Finish is beautiful. I chose the white head with the 4x10 white cabinet. The white really stands out and looks much better than the same old black. All controls feel nice and well made. There's no cheap, loose feel when dialing in your tone. All fluid, well made components.

So far it seems very well made. All the knobs are very smooth and sturdy, and the head itself is heavy as a tank. I've only had it for a couple of weeks, but so far so good. Your general opinion of this product. This head is a definite improvement over the previous generations of 5150s and 6505s. The versatility of this head is it's greatest trait, and the main reason for my purchase. If it's much larger price tag is warranted, I'm not 100% certain, but I'm pleased with the amp nonetheless. N/A N/A The white ivory is beautiful. More amps should have the option to be more than just a plain average black. N/A

Have not had it long enough yet. Only had it a week but absolutely no problems. Your general opinion of this product. A bit pricey but after recieving it, worth every penny! You can dail up a wide range of tone from this beast...I am stoked! Craftsmanship seems to be typical Fender build...outstanding!

So far, great... Just got it, will let you know. Your general opinion of this product. Purchased the Half Stack for may son after months of review. Overall very tight product, well made without any issues to note. AMS always sends out great stuff. This is one heavy rig and the box was a mess but the amp and cab arrived perfect. We bought the Ivory, WOW!! NA Wonderul and loud but can play in the bed room; it comes alive at 4 and higher. The ivory is great with a touch of black. Looks great!

I have been using it playing out weekly for almost a year....no problems, works great, sounds great, easy to dial in screamer.... perfect tone...clean to metal....and everything else too looked great, a little beat up now...but, still tickin Screamin....plugged it in and went

Amp head is very well made enclosure feels heavier than my previous head and is bigger in overall size. The transformer appears to be larger in this head than my last and according to all I have read that is where the tone comes from. Only had a few weeks so not sure on reliability. Your general opinion of this product. Overall very happy with the amp. I think it has about the best sound I have heard from this type of amp. I have a 2x12 Peavey 5150 and I thought it had some crunch until I play this amp. Clean channel on this amp is much better than the older Peavey. Only problem with the amp is that it is a 100 watts which is a bit much when you are use to a 2x12 50 watt. Amp sound good playing a variety of different music. It has the EVH tone but not so much you can't play other styles of music with it. Black matches the 4x12 I have perfect. Brand new even though it was a dent and scratch.

Built very good and a great looking head. only have it a week so reliabilty is unknown as of yet....haven't seen anyone complain however about them Your general opinion of this product. works as advertised, has excellent sound from all 3 channels the footswitch is well built as is the head itself...it's by far the cleanest channel switching i've ever heard from any tube amp and it does it instantly
