General
Your general opinion of this product.
Light weight and feels almost like a acoustic guitar. This guitar makes great tones. Strings are a bit light, doing metal with this with light strings sound a bit scattered on the distortion. I got this because Adam D from killswitch engage uses it for his live gigs. So far, no disappointments.
Quality
Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable?
Very well made. Only thing is the frets had sharp edges on the sides. But with time, it slowly went away. Its not as bad as before. Quality guitar besides that. Tabacco sunburst is better looking in person.
Playability and Feel
How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing?
Fast, smooth, easy to use control while playing.
Tone
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
You can get just about anything from this thing. The Tones will make your ears drool. Rich warm tones. String sits high from body so it creates nice resonance, great for playing clean, and can do metal as well.
Action
How was the action out of the box?
Perfect. Not too high, not too low. Plays right out of box. Havent changed anything yet.
Finish
How did the stain or paint job look?
Perfect. You have to see in person. One of the best looking paint jobs and colors Ive seen. Sunburst tabacco turned out better than i thought.
Reliability
How has it stood up over time?
Still playing and looking good. This guitar should last forever, and many string swaps to come for variety of rich full tones.

Smooth, you won't find a better playing guitar sold on AMS than this guitar. I know I have purchased over 25 guitars for AMS over the last 20 years and this is by far my favorite...along with my USA WOLFGANG STEALTH...really is the same guitar in so many ways.

Killer, subtle and sweet when it needs to be, you can dial this thing in if you work at it.
Finish
How did the stain or paint job look?
I dig it, simple and "stealthy"
Action

Excellent, came with 9-42 strings, I put on the 9-46's and it was k-chugg-kchugg.

Second to none... beautiful ebony fingerboard and the fret work is second to none. Can't find a flaw. Should last quite some time..
Reliability

So far so good.. I'm not worried. I will probably break down before it does.

Overall this is one really nice guitar. Put together well, good components and feels 'alive' when you play it...should last a long time.
Playability and Feel

Feels real solid and plays incredibly well considering the action is a little higher than I would like..body & neck vibrate with sound plugged in or not. The neck is totally different than the Peavey model. This one is more of a cross between a JP EBMM and a US Strat C. Still feels great and plays well, but much thinner than the 'other'.
Tone

Best part.. can get most any sound you want, including, but not limited to, 'the brown sound'

Perfect and flawless.
Action
How was the action out of the box?
Kind of a downer to be honest. My Peavey had a traditional bone nut and the action was perfect around or < .01" Now it is set up similar to a Strat at at least .025" (both at the first fret) Unfortunately with the locking nut, lowering the action becomes more costly and involved. This one is still good, but not as good as I had expected. But being a Signature Modal, maybe Eddie's tastes have changed in this area too.
