Protects hearing, yet preserves sound quality

I have used the product for a couple years now, and it is in excellent condition. I consider it well made, and durable.
Features:
I can hear the drum kit, and the sound quality is not terribly altered, but the db level is reduced to a comfortable level. I occasionally plug the headphones into music while I play, an added benefit.
Ease of Use:
So simple to use, as easy as putting on headphones.
Value:
Worth the relatively high cost.
