General Your general opinion of this product. This is a 500 dollar guitar, or should be. Too many short cuts, BUT, compared to the price of guitars these days, if you want a nice guitar this one has the basic essentials to polish up and turn into a great guitar. All around pretty decent guitar. Of course with most all Fender guitars, there is a need for a set-up right out of the box. The saddles on the bride are not any good so they need to be replaced. The intonation on the low E string is nearly impossible to set due to the screws across the top of the bridge plate. Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? Decent quality overall. Just hate that Fender uses cheap parts in the important places which leave little choice except to replace them. Tuners, saddles, and the tone pots being what I am referring to. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? Nice tone without a doubt. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? Nice paint

General Your general opinion of this product. I like this guitar very much. Overall the price point is decent (not outstanding)in comparison to higher end Made in Americas and Specials MIM. However, I believe I have received a very good instrument for money spent. Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? The build seems solid.(no flaws founds so far) The woods are as advertised. Maple, nice piece of Rosewood, etc. The paint and finish are well executed (no blemishes found). The hardware seems attached firmly. Tuners function smoothly. The nut and frets appear properly slotted and dressed. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? I'm impressed with the rich character of open chords when played without amplifification. The single coils are slightly hotter than the standards, but the classic clean "Strat" tone is still present when the volumes is backed off slightly. The 5 way switch provides that familiar "in-between" tone in the 4th position, neck and middle. The Atomic HB is a bit too nasal and or honky for my ears. It character may change when its pushed at high gain. But, I haven't tried that yet. It is safe to say that the guitar does have tonal diversity. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? The finish is well executed. Its a handsome young guitar.
Nice for the price

General Your general opinion of this product. Nice little guitar for the price. But at the price there are some things that could have been done better and parts that should have been added such as better saddles on the bridge, and better tuners Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? It`s made ok but as with most any guitar out of the box, there are things that have to be adjusted. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? Pickups are ok. I don`t know how much these cheaper pickups cost the company but it would be nice to get at least a standard Strat pickup instead of whatever these were. The bridge pickup is great but just too bright. I will be ordering a new set shortly to replace all of them in my guitar. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? nice paint job

General Your general opinion of this product. A lot of guitar for the money. Vintage tremelo bridge, nice Texas pickups w/Humbucker in bridge position, jumbo frets, nice smooth playing neck and great sunburst finish. Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? Nice quality. However, the bridge saddle on the high E string needed to be filed to stop string breakage. I will replace with the Gotoh Vintage Bridge anyway. Other than that issue the guitar is rock solid and well made. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? The pickups are a bit dark but I love them for that. It makes the guitar very flexible as you can add treble with the EQ or presence controls. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? Beautiful sunburst finish.
