Product Rating Only one complaint on the quality. Being it is a replicated "60's" Jazz does not mean the pickups have to be as noisy as an original!!! Then neck is for sure the best feature on this guitar! There is no doubt this is the fastest and most comfortable neck I have ever played. The only thing I would have done different is put better pickups. The tone I get from this bass can go from bright and punchy to dark and muddy. The weight of this guitar is very well balanced. Like I said earlier, the neck is thin and fast!!!! Perfect for any style music. With the right eq setting on my SWR 350x I can get a MM Sterling sound all the way to the distinctive Jazz Bass growl. It can get pretty much any tone you can imagine. The only draw back is the pickups are quite noisy when they are not balanced. AWESOME! I know it sounds crazy to buy a MIM Jazz for over a grand, but this baby looks as good as it sounds!!! When I first pulled this guitar out of the box the action was set ok for a mail order catalog. I play a little more aggressively than most, so it had a good bit of fret buzz. With just a little patience I had the action perfect for my playing style.
