Product Review
I just received this guitar about 2 weeks ago. I haven’t had time to play on it as much as I would like. So far the little that I have used it it is BADASS! It has a great tone and is beautiful to look at. I play a lot of rock and punk and this guitar has a great sound and feel for both. Furthermore it’s a Dave Murray guitar. What else needs to be said. The downside is that it comes with a gig bag. I think it should come with a hard shell case but whatever. I bought one for it through AMS. I love the guitar and you will too. Check us out on Social. You’ll see the guitar soon in action. Look for Los Mutts.

Product Review
Not usually a buyer of “signature” edition guitars, but this axe is awesome. Love the classic look with the Seymour Duncan Hot Rails for playing heavy rock and metal. The middle SD JB pickup sounds “stratty” enough on its own when I want it to. Very versatile instrument for any music style. Rarely goes out of tune. And no Maiden logos or Eddie’s in sight on this super strat, just Dave’s classy autograph on the back of the headstock. You’ll probably want to play this with 42-9 super light strings it comes set up with, otherwise you will need to re-set the bridge and fret action.

Got it in yesterday. Put it through the tests!! Action was great. A bit of fine tuning needed of course.
Absolutely flawless finish, neck pocket was superb.
Frets are great, no sharp edges, smooth.
Plugged into the trusty Marshall half stack and the magic happened. Pick ups are hot as hell , dynamic.
It’s a loud one folks! Exactly what you would expect.
The Floyd Rose is spot on. Everything about this guitar is fantastic.
My expectations are exceeded. Can’t wait for live Venus to reopen. Gonna show this shredding machine off.
BUY IT!!!!

Not a negative thing to say about the guitar. An excellent instrument.
Now as for the company... I feel a little disappointed with the fact that I bought the guitar maybe three months ago for about $1,300 and change after after taxes and now I just got an email offering the guitar for $800 and change! I feel swindled!

I gave it only four stars because I am not used to this tremolo system
I am sure I will get better. Everything else is outstanding
The pickups are fantastic. You can achieve any tone there is. I play hard rock from the 60s and 70s. The compound neck radius is magical. Thank you AMS.

Product Review
A Dave Murray designed and approved Strat with Hotrail P/U's AND a Floyd Rose Trem system! This guitar is amazing in both appearance and tone. I have a few guitars, and if I had to pick just one to keep, it would be this one. I almost wish I had another one just because... I would recommend this guitar to anyone who is a Fender enthusiast and/or an Iron Maiden fan. It's quite remarkable!

A vintage strat with modern functionality

Product Review
I have owned many Stratocasters over the years because I love vintage, but was always irritated because of limitations like fretting out, going out of tune, and getting only that "strat" sound, which I love, but don't want to be limited to. Well, for me, this is the answer. Compound fretboard radius (flatter as you go up the neck preventing fretout with low action. Some people think "radius" has something to do with the neck carve size. Untrue), Floyd rose and versatile yet aggressive sounds while retaining vintage strat looks and feel. Solves most of the issues that bothered me in a strat. Just be prepared to adjust it, but that's with all guitars made from wood sooner or later. Mine is well made. Two piece body, No gaps in neck pocket like some strats, and bridge is dead center, thus strings are aligned with board perfectly unlike some I've had. It's finished great too, no flaws. Only 21 frets though, but I can live with that, just bend up if I have to. Peace out.

Product Review
Great guitar for a great price. High quality construction, finish was great and played very well out of the box. A few minor adjustments to suit your style and your good to go. The humbuckers, compound radius fingerboard and Floyd Rose are a nice change from your standard strat offerings, and the gig bag was a lot nicer than I expected. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who’s a fan of Iron Maiden and great guitars, up the irons!

Product Review
I LOVE THIS FREAKIN GUITAR!!! If you are a tone freak and love stratocasters listen on... This beautiful axe has delicious and hard-hitting tone and an aggressive Whammy to suit the modern player. I have always been flabbergasted by the tones produced by the Seymour Duncan pickup company. The articulation of notes and pick attack is here(!) with their extremely delicious pickup set installed on this guitar! If you are a fan of only vintage traditional Strat sounds, this may not be the guitar for you, but if you love hints of vintage Strat sound embodied with Drive and Modern sound, coupled with an original swanky but PRECISE FRS tremolo, then THIS IS the guitar for your consideration! The craftsmanship is beautiful, the action is disturbingly fun and low!!! If you are like me, you will find yourself dissolving into and through this instrument! It's a Perfect Blend of vintage meets modern! Play On!!! Thanks AMS Again!!!

I just got this, and man is it sweet! I love the compound radius neck, the awesome 1000 series Floyd Rose, the true SSS pickup route, the pickups are much more versatile than I had imagined, and the sunburst finish looks great!
I'm not sold on the vintage tuners, but Dave has had them on every Strat I've seen him with, so he must be on to something.
I have two other Floyd Rose equipped Strats, which I love, and was wrestling with spending $1,000 on a third, but it was the right decision. I love this guitar, and there's honestly nothing that needs changed. It is dialed in, straight from the factory. Worth every penny.

My First Strat Exactly How I Like It!

It is sooo shiny. I love it. Plays great, love the feel of the neck. Did some minor adjustments to string height but probably didn't need it. I'm a big fan of having the bridge sit on the body makes for a more stable tuning and playable guitar. I don't play it if doesn't have a Floyd Rose on it. The compound radius on the neck is definitely key for making this guitar playable. I believe they have another model with a Floyd but the strings are a mile off the neck because its a 9.5 radius thus making it shred is impossible. I also have the Adrian Smith Jackson with basically the same setup but its the Indonesian model and lacks a bit of the quality in the hardware department but still plays great.
Back to the Strat... Pickup configuration is great too. Sounds like a strat but quiet and not thin like single coils. Fat PAF sound. I'll never let it go. If Fender made guitars like this all the time I never would've bought any thing else.

...but I AM a Dave Murray fan, so I was intrigued when this came out. I decided to give it a shot, because even if I wasn't over the moon about it, I still had a Dave Murray Signature Strat. Well, lemme tell ya! The factory set up was NOT very flattering, and I actually put the guitar down for a few days. But once I had some time to give it a full set-up, WOW.
The key to setting this guitar up is knowing how to use the micro-tilt. I play fast and have a light touch, so I took out most of the relief in the neck, and then gave the micro tilt some very small adjustments and POW! There's the sweet spot. The action on this thing is unbelievable! It's comfortable all down the neck, and the flatter radius on the upper frets lets you get the action right down on the deck with no fretting out when you stretch the strings hard. The Floyd leaves a smooth surface for your hand (as opposed to those little allen screws that normally tear my skin up) This isn't a guitar, it's a Light Saber!! :-)

Way exceeded my expectations. I've had a couple strats and they just didn't seem to keep my attention. This is the one I've been longing for. Thank you Dave for teaming up with Fender and helping them get it right!
