Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? Awesome tone and adjustability. Picksups are really nice and hotter than the older Fenders. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? Smooth and flawless. The white really stands out with the rosewood fretboard in contrast.

The stock PU's seem a little hotter than the previous production years. Fretwork is allot smoother than previous 5 years. The tinted maple neck is very nice. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? Great basic passive tone. Nothing fancy here folks. Just a solid P Bass-workhorse-sound. Finish How did the stain or paint job look?
