General What is your overall opinion of this product? Fit and finish are top drawer, I didn`t give it a five star rating because of a couple of minor problems that I was able to work out myself. One was a burr or sharp edge where the high E string came through the bridge, (it would break the string). I was able to clean this up by removing the saddle and running a .036" wound string scrap through the hole on the bearing side of the bridge hole a few times. The other problem was not enough angle over the nut for the G string (causing funny overtones and kind of a dead sound when the string was played open). I solved this by replacing the tuning machine for that string with a shorter one from a set of Fender American Standard Tuning machines. Other than these two bugs it arrived set-up pretty well and plays beautifully. The humbucking pickups are something new for me as my other Tele and the two Strats all have single coils. I have, however, been able to get good sounds with them.

Your general opinion of this product. In the realm of $500 tele's, this guitar has to be the king. Great feel, great playability, and great tone. It's hard to beat. You could spend a whole lot more, but why?
