Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? Excpetional quality. I've played many MIM Fenders and this one has to be on the top of the list. Every detail is perfect. Reliability How has it stood up over time? I have only owed this guitar for a month so I can't so much. But I am a heavy player and I move around alot and so far I haven't had an reiability problems. The strap buttons work excellent. General Your general opinion of this product. Mexican made Fender of high quality Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? The C shape neck feel's great. On a scale of small to x-large, I have large hands but with skinny fingers. This neck suits my fingers perfectly. The scale length also fits me well. I'm about 6'1" and a bit stocky so I like being albe to move around the neck fast without having to reach very far while still having enough room to pick fast and find the right fret. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? These pickups are very versatile. IT's the only thing on this guitar that isn't like a normal Fender. The bridge is chunky and treble and the neck is smooth and kinda snappy. Defintely not bell-like. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? The finish is beautiful as with all the Fenders I have seen in person. the only complaint I have is that my guitar has this weird wood defect that caused a line to raise up a bit but its not that noticeable. Action How was the action out of the box? Great action, I just needed to change the strings. I didn't like the gauge nor did I enjoy the sound the stock strings had

Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? Yes VERY well made, and absolutely dependable!! Reliability How has it stood up over time? I've only had it for about 3 months. But all the shows i've played with I have never had a problem with it! General Your general opinion of this product. Honestly, This guitar plays and sounds so much better then every other guitar I own, I have an epiphone casino, Les paul, Schecter Omin, And washburn Strat and none compare to this guitar. Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? Pretty on the heavy side but you get used to it. The neck feel is amazing, The short scale make it so easy to play! Controls are very easy to reach while playing. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? Whatever sound your looking for, this guitar will achieve it. I am very proud to call this fender MINE! Finish How did the stain or paint job look? Incredible, I get compliments on how beautiful it is at everyone of my shows! Action How was the action out of the box? Better the anything I've ever played.

Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? Pretty good guitar...Its gonna be amazing when I get finished with it. Reliability How has it stood up over time? I haven't had it that long so we'll see. General Your general opinion of this product. This is an awesome looking guitar. However, there are a few issues that I have had. Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? The guitar is a little heavier than I'm used to but that's a me problem. It does play pretty fast though. The neck feels good and the controls are easy to adjust on the fly. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? Its kind of a darker sound and a little muddy. There are a few things that can be done to adjust that(pickup height adjustment, capacitors, string type, etc.) Finish How did the stain or paint job look? The paint job was awesome...I got the black on black and it is simply stunning. The chrome hardware really stands out. It does show fingerprints pretty easily but thats nothing that a quick wipedown can't fix. Action How was the action out of the box? I wish there was a way to adjust the bridge height without removing the strings first. I think I'm gonna replace the bridge with a tune-o-matic bridge.

Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? The Blacktop Jaguar HH is very well made. And, it stays in tune as well as my American Fat Strat Texas Special.I expect it will remain as dependable as any Fender guitar. Reliability How has it stood up over time? It's a Fender !! I have also owned a Deluxe Nashville Tele and it was an excellent guitar. They build good Fenders in Ensenada. I've only had this Jaguar for 6 days but I expect it to be very reliable. Just like all the other Fenders I've owned. American and Mexican. General Your general opinion of this product. I've been playing guitar since 1964 and have been a semi-pro for the past 30 years or so and a studio owner for the past 20 years. I've owned dozens of guitars and played many more than that. I currently own an American Fat Strat Texas Special and a Highway 1 Tele. I purchased the Blacktop Jaguar HH on a whim. All I can say is WOW!!!!! Through my Peavey Classic 30 The Blacktop Jag ROCKS!!!!! Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? This is a heavy guitar. 14 pounds. I like it that way. The wood resonates nicely even unplugged. The neck is very comfortable and the fretwork is good. Maybe not as slick as a high end guitar but plenty good. When I strapped it on the balance was good. The control layout is good and the 3 way switch is in easy reach. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? You can get bright and snappy or dark and smooth. This guitar will sing sweetly or roar like a lion. Nice hot and responsive pickups. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? It's black and chrome and the fit and finish are flawless. A beautiful guitar. Action How was the action out of the box? Action was a bit high. I lowered it just a little. Intonation was perfect right out of the box.

Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? Reliability How has it stood up over time? I've only had it for a few weeks but so far its great. Stays in tune perfectly. General Your general opinion of this product. This is a gorgeous instrument. Sounds great, plays easy. Basic no nonsense two pickups one volume one tone set up. Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? Finish How did the stain or paint job look? The paint job was excellent. Gloss black with the chrome is really hot. Action How was the action out of the box? The action was perfect, very easy to play and the neck plays alot like my 70's strat. Easy to play open chords which is good for me because I have large hands.
