Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? I only have owned this wonderful Telecaster for about a month but it's very well made! Reliability How has it stood up over time? Only owned one month, but really feels solid. General Your general opinion of this product. I have been playing guitar for 47 years, in bands. This Tele is one of the best guitars I have played! I have owned Mosrite,Gibson, Nagoya, Taylor, Vox, Rickenbacker, Wechter, along with various other models of guitars. This Fender Empress Telecaster is in the top 2 or 3. Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? The neck is fast and the guitar is so light that when I open the guitar and take it out of the case, I have to be careful not to hit the headstock on the ceiling! (HA!) Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? Great hot p-u's tone can range to very bluesy to loud heavy metal! Finish How did the stain or paint job look? Great looking guitar, not a scratch or blemish. Action How was the action out of the box? Out of the box, this Tele was very good. However, I took it to Victor Litz Music and had Roger set it up for me. It now exceeds my wildest expections. Plays soooo smoothly and very low action with no string/fret buzz on any string, on any fret!
