Product Review Ive played MiM's for years. Finally stepped up to the real thing. Its worth every penny. Ive had it for 2 days and Im pretty much obsessed with it. Ill put it through its paces gig wise but I have no doubt it will hold up and be my number 1. Love my MiM P and D but this thing makes me not even want to pick those up. Get one. You wont be disappointed I had to tweak the neck by maybe a quarter turn and lower the pickups a tad. Thats it. Its a player!

Product Review I really had to convince myself to return my MIM Jazz Bass and shell out the extra dough for this American Standard. And holy crap I'm so glad I did! I did some direct recording and closely compared the tone of this MIA and my previous MIM. There's no question: this American bass is so much clearer, punchier, and tighter. The build and finish is absolute top-notch. My only gripe is that I much preferred the previous SKB molded cases. These new Tolex cases aren't so great, which costs this bass one star. Bass guitar: 5 stars Case: 3 stars Avg: 4 stars

I am totally impressed with the quality and workmanship. I was not so sure that the extra price of the American version would be worth it. It totally is! The fretwork is perfect. It arrived set-up and intonated. Feels sturdy and playability is exceptional. I love that it has the graphite supported neck. Also love the new pickups in the 2012 version. Looks great, plays great, sounds great. What more could you want? Great sound and very versatile. The 2012 pickups are fantastic! Your general opinion of this product. Best bass purchase I've ever made, hands down. I've owned Warwick, MTD, Epiphone, Fender MIM, and many others. This one feels the best to me. Nice solid sound. Very versatile between the tone control and the pickup blending. I prefer these nice passive pickups to the active pickup sound, but that's just me. It does everything I need it to do beautifully and with no complications. Flawless. Olympic White, Tortoise pickguard, maple neck. Simply beautiful. Fantastic! Even intonated accurately (and with a Peterson strobe tuner too).
