I really like the active electronics on this bass. Such a variety of tones and giving you complete control of those tones. I would like to have the bridge cover on it. I like resting my hand on that while playing. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? I replaced the roundwounds with flatwounds, and to me the sound is impeccable coming out of the pickups. I've played my basses over 3 decades with R/W's and loved the sounds, but after going to F/W's, I'm loving it even more. You can get that deep muddy bass as well as the high-pitched G-string runs that scream. It's a win-win situation with this guitar! Finish How did the stain or paint job look?
