I was NOT disappointed. It was everything I hoped for and more. Reliability How has it stood up over time? Can't say much here only had it a couple of weeks, but I'm very happy with it so far. Overall Your general opinion of this product. it was great right out of the box. the only thing I've done to it was tune the strings. Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? Love the action, and feel. It's faster than any other fender I have picked up. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? The sound is good the only reason I put four stars here is the bridge pick up sets a little too low for my tastes. I intend to pick it up closer to the strings, but the actual tone is very good. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? I got mine a bit lower in price stating it was blemished, but I couldn't find any blemish when I got it.

Are the controls easy to get to while playing? 5 - I'm not a professional, but it felt great. I like the contoured body which makes it nice when playing while sitting. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? 5 - With the humbucker in the bridge position, you can get a heavier sound from the guitar. With the coils tap, the standard Telecaster sound is available. Also, the strat pickup in the middle position is a bonus. I love the availability of the different sounds. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? 5 - The charcoal definitely looks black from a distance, and looks darker than the photos, but I like it. Not a defect in the finish. I like the glossy neck and it has a nice feel, but I'd guess sweaty hands might tend to stick. Action How was the action out of the box? 5 - Very playable. The intonation was right on. Only problem I could find was a slight kink in the B string. It still played fine, and I usually replace the strings often anyway.
