How dependable? its the same fit and finish as my made in japan fenders. alittle better than mim not as good as mia. i had to take a secound look to make sure this was made in china. very well done! Are the controls easy to get to while playing? i like the tele shape but not always a tele sound, but this is a great new tone for you tele lovers and the neck is nice! Tone Bright and snappy? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? it is a very unique sound, they are pretty high output, but the warm sound is incrediable, and it likes to rock on the bridge. this made my 60's tribute gibson les paul p-90 useless this was better in every aspect!
