What is your overall opinion of this product?
Another great Squier Guitar
What is your opinion of the quality of this product? How does it work for different genres of music?
Tone is pretty much the same, any EQing must be done at the amp.
Heavy, fast, chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing?
Neck is superb, well fitted and crowned frets. Plays great and easy. Guitar is right at 7 lbs and control (volume) is easy to access.
How is the tone? Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick or thin?
Mono-tone with both PUs on, snappy with growl thru the bridge PU. Neck PU is blurry but blends well with bridge PU well.
How did the stain or paint job look?
Neck is finished perfect as is basswood body, looks super.
Did you get what you were expecting for the price? How does it compare to similar products in the same price range?
Great bang for the buck, typical Squier product. Thank you Fender and AMS.
How was the action out of the box?
Badly needed setting up and cleaning but it set up easy and all setting held. Sign of a good quality guitar.
