Quality
Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable?
It aooears to be very well done as wasa Classic Vibe 60'd Jazz I had.I just got it so it's too soon to see how well it does in the dependability side. But I'm not abit worried about it.
Features
What do you consider to be the best features of this product? What features would you add to this product if you could?
Very simple just like I like them and no preamp wiring or battery hassles.
Sound
How is its Tone?
Incredible classic single tone bass.If thats what you like. The tone pot is very effective and can be dialed in with your amp as one would like iot to be.
Playability and Feel
How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing?
It feels like a well done P-Bass.Neck abit sticky but but I will adjust to it like any other. These are about 8-9 lb guitars.
Tone
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
I'd say smooth and a bit snappy.I plan to put on some flats on it to get that 50's early 60's sound I like for what I do.
Finish
How did the stain or paint job look?
Excellent really nice.I wanted the buttersctch as soon as it came out.Era correct color instead of Lake Placid blue. Also the darker tinted neck is incredible.People with Boo on Suier syndrome had better notice this one.Its every bit as pretty as a MIA.
Action
How was the action out of the box?
I got this one and it was pretty spot on.American Fender could take some lessons from Squier Division.I've seen Hwy 1's not in a s good a set up as this Squier.
