Quality
Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable?
Build quality is absolutely flawless. It's truly amazing! The neck pocket fit is so tight,a frog's hair wouldn't fit in the gap! I've owned too many Stats, this Squier Bullet is built as good as the best American Strat I've owned.
Reliability
How has it stood up over time?
It's a Strat, what can go wrong? You can use them as a club in a barroom fight, afterwards it'll play just fine.

Your general opinion of this product.
Unbelievable value at $99.99!

Sounds like a Strat.

Quality
Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable?
This is not a toy, it is as good an instrument as any other costing much more.
Reliability
How has it stood up over time?
I haven't had it long enough to experience any problems with hardware or electronics and I'm confident that with proper care there won't be any issues.
Overall
Your general opinion of this product.
The quality, sound and playability of this Strat far exceeded my expectations in every way.
Playability and Feel
How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing?
This is a nice little guitar and it's fun to play. I say little only because the body isn't as thick as that of a Standard Strat, other than that it feels like a lighter version of the real deal and it sounds like it too.
Tone
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
1,3,and 5 positions are noisy, but 2 and 4 positions are surprisingly quiet. I am not at all disappointed with the sound of this instrument, it sounds better than I expected.
Finish
How did the stain or paint job look?
I purchased a Dent-and-Scratch item, but still it is very nice.
Action
How was the action out of the box?
It was playable out of the box and only took about a half an hour to set it up to my liking, now I can't put this thing down, it's that fun to play.

Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable?
It's a price point. It's not an American Strat. But for the money, it's a nice guitar. It's a great beginner guitar, or back-up guitar, etc. Again, I'm a little skeptical of the tuning machines. I haven't used the tremelo. Looks like it would be pretty easy to swap the existing tuners for some vintage style Klusion tuning machines.
Reliability
How has it stood up over time?
Seems to be fairly well made. I'm a little skeptical about the tuning machines, but they're easy enough to upgrade.

I was at a guitar store with my 2 year old daughter. She spotted a pink Squier Bullet Strat on a stand on the floor and walked over and hugged it! She REALLY wanted this guitar! So I plugged it into an amp and played it for her. I was amazed by how well this guitar actually played and sounded for the money! This is a GREAT first guitar! We decided to buy one, and I took it to rehearsal. When I told the rest of the guys in my band that I bought it for my 2 year old daughter they laughed at me! But she'll be playing before long!
Playability and Feel
How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing?
There isn't a lot of lacquer on the neck, which can be a good thing. It's a fairly slim, fast neck. The frets feel pretty good and it's easy to play. It's a MUCH better guitar than the old Crestwood that I started out on!
Tone
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
Bright and snappy. Sounds like a Strat.
Finish
How did the stain or paint job look?
Looks great! But it's PINK! My daughter loves it!
Action
How was the action out of the box?
The guitar played very well in the store. The action was set about right with no fret buzz. I've played guitars that cost more than 5 times what this guitar costs that didn't play this well.
