Your general opinion of this product.
Neck width is a bit narrower than my other classical guitars.Soi it's taking time to get used to. No set up done to instrument before shipping.Very easy truss rod adjustment. Machine heads a bit cheesey and goes out of tune quickly and often . Tuner is right on.Very mellow sound according to my in home critic.
Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable?
Would have been happier if made in USA. Too early to make dependability comments. At least a half a step out of tune every time I pick it up.
Playability and Feel
How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing?
Neck is narrower than my Goya and Greco classical guitars. So fingering with both hands different. My big fingers will need to adapt.Feels narrower than my D45.
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
Sets up to bright easily by on board controls and amp."Pickups" very mellow. Does lack depth of sound from a full bodied classical, but that's to be expected.
How was the action out of the box?
Out of the box,Wow ! I'd bet instrument has never ever been in tuned. 3rd or G string buzzed badly. If sent to a beginner there would be lots of disappointment. A bit of patience and the problems were rectified.
How did the stain or paint job look?
Finish really good, back is impressive!
How has it stood up over time?
Gee been great for two weeks.
I love the design...
