It's not made for touring but with proper care it should protect your guitar for general use such as gigging around town or going to rehearsals and such. My tele fits nice and snug and I like the lid for the storage space , it keeps accessories for moving around inside. Overall a good case for the money! My local guitar store had cheap cardboard cases for $75!!!! My new Deluxe Players Strat fits like a glove!!!! I don't play on the road any longer, so this case will "fit" my needs very well when I go to "jam" with my buddies!!!! Better than a gig bag but not rugged enough for serious road use. Right price -- less than the molded SKB-made case, much less than the G&G-made.
