Surprisingly Great Case

Quality
Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable?
This product looks to be well made. The top and bottom fit together well. Plush interior. Good interior storage areas. It is an excellent choice as a case, if you carry your own instrument and are not looking for a ruggedized shipping case. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality. It provides good protection for your instrument under normal circumstances.

Best Features: The moisture barrier plastic shell, the light weight, the plush interior. I also liked that it fit P-bass and Jazz bass styles in case you change your instrument.

This case has a plastic exterior and I like the black finish. It was free of defects and looks very nice. The case closes and locks down much more tightly than my 70's Fender Strat Coffin Case and weighs less too. It looks to provide a better rain barrier than older coffin cases.

This is an "economy" case. It is fairly thin plastic and I'm not at all impressed with the hardware. Hinges do not properly allign and latches are hard to close. Overall, this case will be fine for storing my bass in the closet and a trip in the car now and then. I will not depend on it protecting my bass in the equipment trailer.

Plenty of plush storage area inside. I won't endure the hassles of sending it back, but next time I will spend a few $ more and get an SKB or Gator.
