Yes this is a quality product. I've had mine for over a year it been perfect.

So far it's been very reliable...it is a Stratocaster after all. Fender has been making them for 50+ years for a reason.

This guitar is a great value at this price. To me it is comparable to guitars in the $1000-$1200 range.
Playability and Feel
How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing?
I was looking for an instrument with a little thicker neck and rounder fretboard than my Jackson and Ibanez that I had. And I wanted a 25-1/2 scale length instead of the 25" that I had on my Carvin. And I can't stand a full baseball bat sized neck either. This fit the bill nicely. The finish on the neck is satin which is another feature I like.
Tone
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
As far as the tone goes, I discussed most of it above. It's really very good. For the way I need it to sound it's just right.
Finish
How did the stain or paint job look?
Very good. Mine has a white body, paint still looks like new.
Action
How was the action out of the box?
Very good. Arrived in tune and intonated properly. Only had to adjust bass side of the bridge up a little to remove a slight amount of fret buzz on the wound strings.

I like this product because it is light-weight. Since it will accept a replacement Humbucker I will buy a black one and replace the pickgaurd with a black/white/black pickgaurd that I will buy from a parts company who's name begins with an H.

a standard strat is very light-weight. It emmediately feels comfortable and easy to play.

the tone is bright and "sophisticated" But mine will have a Seymour Duncan Dimebucker.

How was the action out of the box?
The action of these guitars is excellent right out of the box even though others might want to fine tune the instrument to there own likking
