Best guitar overall on the market that validates playability and budget!

Product Rating Product Review I recently had to downsize from my 51 nocaster tele, for life’s expenses. However, as a full time musician, I still needed a work guitar. The Fender Roadworn tele has everything I needed and wanted and fit my budget tremendously. It had the feel of my 51 relic due to the 50’s neck, the look as well, and the playability surprised me. It felt like I was playing a vintage guitar. The Texas Special pickups sounded great as well. The bridge pickup has a dark almost broadcaster quality to it. The neck pickup is a little dull, but most tele neck pickups are anyway, but still cut good through the mix. It’s not as light as I would’ve liked, but it still feels great and a worthy axe to have in any arsenal. It became my workhorse guitar and a guitar that I can validate its price in sound, look, and playability.

Product Review I was looking for a telecaster and came across this one I loved the idea of owning a relict guitar I was skeptical after seeing some reviews about how the body didn’t have much wear on it but I was pleasantly surprised mine was perfect not so much wear that you question the price not so little wear that you question if it’s a relict guitar it’s plays and sounds amazing I look forward to owning this guitar when it really is a relic

Product Review I have had 4 other Telecasters and sold them all. I just could not bond with them, or they just feel right. This Road Worn just feels great to me and it's a keeper. I have others with Tex Mex pickups but they sound different as well. Great weight, necks feels good and beautiful look what more could you ask for.

Product Review I really like this road worn tele. I have a custom tele and several strats. The only thing I've replaced on this guitar so far has been the saddles, which I ask my tech to replace, with Glendale compensated saddles. Tuning is now spot on, pickups sound great, and this thing responds like a great tele, and a familiar friend. I have no problems with the sound, but considered replacing pickups just to get rid of single coil noise. So far, it hasn't been much of a problem, and this sounds really good.

Product Review I have the sunburst model. I love this guitar. You get the broken in feel and playbility of guitar's costing much more. Mine has the maple neck and it's very fast. The sound is classic telecaster. I recommend the road worn to any one looking to buy a telecaster. The guitar is perfect.

Product Review I was extremely disappointed in what Fender delivered on this guitar: sharp, jutting fret ends, very high action and an extremely sharp, ice picky tone. I have been spoiled by the Chinese made Epiphones I have purchased recently from AMS, which came with hard cases, buttery smooth set-ups and killer tones, all for hundreds less than this MIM that came in a cheap gig bag. I knew within five minutes that this was going back.

This is one well made guitar which is fast becoming my number one! I wish I have bought this years ago! Once you buy one you will be hard pressed to put it down! So far no issues! This guitar is perfect! Your general opinion of this product. This is one fine instrument! The relicing was very tastefully done! The neck on mine is fantastic, not cheesy but looks realistic like a guitar form the 50s would look with years and miles of play on it! The fit and finish are spectacular! You can not go wrong with this instrument The neck is a nice chunky U! It is fast and very comfortable. The body feels like your favorite pair of old broken in jeans! The overall tone is amazing! The bridge pup is a monster waiting to be unleashed. The neck pickup is sweet and mellow! One word...perfect. This guitar looks like it is from the 50's. It does not look overdone or fake. No adjustments needed. The action was set just right and the intonation was spot on! Fender just gets better and better!

Excellent quality. I think that people that badmouth Mexican made Fenders are really just sour grapes about outsourcing. These are well made and sound excellent. Are they give the same detailed treatment and attention as Custom Shop guitars? No, but they also cost a lot less and I doubt the majority of players out there can tell the difference. Solid, like all Fender guitars. Your general opinion of this product. The key to Road Worn guitars is not how cool they look (and they do look cool!) but how they feel. Some people don't get the relic process and tend to focus on the looks, but the relic process all breaks in the guitar so that it FEELS like a well-played and older guitar and that is where it makes a difference. Most of us can't afford real vintage instruments and this gives us the feel (and look) at a much lower cost. Thanks to Fender for making my dream affordable. The key factor! Feels like you've been playing it for hours at a time for 30 years! Bright and snappy for sure. Excellent. Looks like a well used guitar, but not trashed. Good. A little tweaking was necessary to make it perfect.

BUILT LIKE A TANK VERY SOLID. NO QUESTION THAT THIS WILL BE VERY DEPENDABLE. ONLY OWNED FOR A COUPLE OF MONTHS BUT TYPICAL SUPER STURDY FENDER. NO WORRIES HERE. Your general opinion of this product. HAVE ALWAYS HAD AMERICAN SERIES STRAT/TELE'S. QUITE IMPRESSED WITH THIS ONE. ALWAYS LOVED THE FEEL AND COMFORT OF TELECASTERS. THIS ONE IS NO DIFFERENT. SILKY NECK AND ALL CONTROLS RIGHT AT YOUR FINGERTIPS. LOVE THE TEX MEX PICK-UPS. EXCELLENT VARIETY OF TONES BLUES, ROCK, COUNTRY ETC. LIKE I HAVE OWNED HER FOR MANY YEARS A PERFECT AGED BEAUTY. ACTION WAS THE TINIEST BIT HIGH BUT AFTER SIMPLE ADJUSTMENTS. PERFECT.
