Quality
Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable?
This is one well made guitar which is fast becoming my number one! I wish I have bought this years ago! Once you buy one you will be hard pressed to put it down!
Reliability
How has it stood up over time?
So far no issues! This guitar is perfect!
Overall
Your general opinion of this product.
This is one fine instrument! The relicing was very tastefully done! The neck on mine is fantastic, not cheesy but looks realistic like a guitar form the 50s would look with years and miles of play on it! The fit and finish are spectacular! You can not go wrong with this instrument
Playability and Feel
How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing?
The neck is a nice chunky U! It is fast and very comfortable. The body feels like your favorite pair of old broken in jeans!
Tone
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
The overall tone is amazing! The bridge pup is a monster waiting to be unleashed. The neck pickup is sweet and mellow!
Finish
How did the stain or paint job look?
One word...perfect. This guitar looks like it is from the 50's. It does not look overdone or fake.
Action
How was the action out of the box?
No adjustments needed. The action was set just right and the intonation was spot on! Fender just gets better and better!

Excellent quality. I think that people that badmouth Mexican made Fenders are really just sour grapes about outsourcing. These are well made and sound excellent. Are they give the same detailed treatment and attention as Custom Shop guitars? No, but they also cost a lot less and I doubt the majority of players out there can tell the difference.
Reliability
How has it stood up over time?
Solid, like all Fender guitars.

The key to Road Worn guitars is not how cool they look (and they do look cool!) but how they feel. Some people don't get the relic process and tend to focus on the looks, but the relic process all breaks in the guitar so that it FEELS like a well-played and older guitar and that is where it makes a difference. Most of us can't afford real vintage instruments and this gives us the feel (and look) at a much lower cost. Thanks to Fender for making my dream affordable.
