The volume knob moves a little easily for my taste but the instrument feels solid Features What do you consider to be the best features of this product? What features would you add to this product if you could? The EQ and the 5 strings with the slim neck made this the bass for me Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? The tone can vary given the EQ but I took the pickups out and put Nordstrand pickups in which sound much better. Prior to doing that the bass sounded good but the very low mids were missing. The new pickups make the bass much better IMHO Finish How did the stain or paint job look? Paint job is good. I have the black with the tortoise shell pickgaurd which is a nice contrast

You really get the rich tone even with subtle notes. A higher mass bridge would be nicer, along with a slightly longer scale for the B string. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? I ordered a custom pickguard for it, I couldn't stand the one it comes with.
