Amazing Guitar
Quality:
High quality all the way. The frets are smooth and level and no sharp fret ends sticking out. No flaws in the finish or craftsmanship.
Sound:
The humbuckers sound really good thru my Hot Rod Deluxe and my SuperSonic.
Reliability:
Like all Fenders it should last a life time.
Overall:
I bought this guitar for my wife, she loves it! The grain in the wood is awesome, and it plays great.
Playability and Feel:
Neck feels good in her hands, she has small hands. All the controls are smooth.
Tone:
Has great tone.
Finish:
No flaws at all, and I am really picky. She wanted the natural finish. Nice and glossy.
Action:
Action was spot on.

Quality:
Very well made, should be dependable enough after I replace some of the semi-cheap stock hardware with pro gear. The volume and tone pots are nice quality, I just have a mild disagreement with their placement so far away from the bridge.
Sound:
Apologies to Mr. Ford, you can have any tone you want as long as it's bright. It's a brilliant bright though, just shy of brittleness... very Fender in spite of the buckers. It can coo, snarl, clang, and twang, shimmer or soar... it won't roar or howl though no matter what pedals you throw on it, and again that's okay in my book.
Reliability:
I just got it, but it has a lifetime warranty on the basics and everything looks straight. I worry a bit about the three bolt neck joint. I'm also planning on replacing the stock saddles with String Savers and ditching the stock tuning pegs for ones that don't slip all the time, it comes with Kluson copies.
Overall:
I got this as a "rhythm guitar" for its bright, clear tones, but it plays some skanky blues tones too! So I guess it's my rhythm and blues axe now. Nice neck shape, comfortable to play, fast enough for say those Eric Johnson "Cliffs of Dover" riffs but not made for shredding... and that's okay! Decent sustain but not so much that it gets in the way of rhythm work. I was really surprised by the build quality for a Mexican Fender. It's a little pricey for a Mexican Fender, but the quality is there so I can't complain too much.
Playability and Feel:
Playability is good, comfortable neck, my one knock is that the volume knob is about a mile from the bridge, making those Jeff Beck swells a right trick, I can barely get a joint of my pinky on it... Beck riffs sound better on my Jackson anyway, though, so I guess I'll cope.
Tone:
Bright, snappy, not as thin as you'd think, kind of lukewarm from the hollowbody, very pleasant to listen too.
Finish:
Gorgeous natural finish, not a single blemish. Nice ash wood, looks almost as premium as the price.
Action:
Typical Fender vintage action, you gotta press 'em down some, but the medium fretwire keeps it honest. Great radius for chordwork. Notes will fret out if you bend much more than a step up the neck.

What an axe!!
Quality:
This axe is well made, and worth every cent I paid. I also have a Jim Adkins model JA-90 Telecaster and a Fender Showmaster guitar (rare w/painted headstock), but I pick up this one first. My fave!!
Sound:
It captured that classic Fender "twang" if you will, yet will rock your socks off, and has great sustain. I play mine through a Fender SuperSonic Amp with a 12" Celestian speaker...Bang!!
Reliability:
Had mine for 2 yrs..and keep it well. I suggest buying a hardshell case as this baby deserves all the loving care it commands.
Overall:
Very satisfied. Well crafted, and I love that hollow body sound (semi).
Playability and Feel:
Very fast action with that Thinline maple neck.
Tone:
Gotta love those humbuckers...they enhance the sound from the semi-hollow body giving it great sustain. Depending on your amp/guitar settings, you can invariably attain just about any genre of sound your looking for...ie: blues, rock, country, but also great for R&B chicken picking.
Finish:
The finish is superb. I chose the natural finish, and still not a scratch or ding on it, and trust me , I play it hard
Action:
I did have to do a little intonation work to get where I wanted it, but thats just me.
Skill Level:
Semi-Pro

Great Guitar!
Quality:
This guitar is beautiful. I get lots of comments on it whenever I play it. I've owned it for 4 years and I bought it from AMS.
Reliability:
This is the piece I go to first.
Overall:
You will not be disappointed with this piece. Please get a hardshell case for it because the gig bag won't protect this piece well enough.
Playability and Feel:
The action is super fast and the neck is very thin. It's much faster than my Les Paul.
Tone:
Great tone. It doesn't quite have the sustain my Les Paul has though.
Finish:
Great finish.
Action:
Fast!
