Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? Seems well built and havent had any remote issues with this Reliability How has it stood up over time? havent had all that long but it hasnt done anythng of concern. Overall Your general opinion of this product. Love the sound, tone and flexabiltiy this amp has to offer not to mention is a hell of a lot louder then I expected!! Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? Incredible and well worth the money.

Finish How did the stain or paint job look? Looks great Action How was the action out of the box? Works great out of the box but not really action. Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? Built like a tank. Reliability How has it stood up over time? Never had a problem with my Fenders. Overall Your general opinion of this product. The new Hot Rod III have a big change from the older models. I was able to turn the volumn down to very low level in my house. Almost a whisper. You start getting volumn at .5 unlike the older models which was about 3, then it was just to loud in a small room. Kick in the More Drive and that .5 booms!. Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? Sounds is great easy to adjust to taste. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? It's a valve amp sounds good..

Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? Heck ya, rock solid, no pun intended. Reliability How has it stood up over time? Mine is a usa made 1999 version. It had the wrong tubes in it when I bought it (smaller 6l6s) and the feet were missing. Ordered new tubes and feet and it is great. Slight pitting on the chrome plate. New ones are black so that may not be an issue. Overall Your general opinion of this product. Great amp with plenty of headroom. Honestly, if you do not have any experience or an opinion on this amp by now, you have to have been living under a rock (or maybe just born in the last few years...) Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? It would be nice if the volume knobs had a bit more sweep, they get maxed out around 3 and do not seem to change much after that. I put an eq pedal through the effects loop and pull back on the volume there so it gives me the sweep I need. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? Is fendery really a word? Plenty of power to gig live with a band and not have to mic it. Still fun to jam at home with it too. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? I like the tweed look best but mine is the boring black. Action How was the action out of the box? na
