Good quality and surprising tone for the price but don't let someone convince you that this is anything more than the most basic of amps. Listening to people gush about how "amazing" it sounds with their strat or tele or how it compares to more expensive amps is laughable

This little thing holds up nicely for what it is. Please don't make it out to be anything more than the most basic of little amps with a nice punchy sound.

Your general opinion of this product.
This is a nice little starter or extra amp for guests without one but it is nothing more than a basic little punchy amp with decent tone. Worth the money but please don't gush over it's adequit tone. It is basic and nothing more than that. You get what you pay for. If you want a REAL amp save your money and get a Blues Jr III-(That's a REAL amp)

Punchy but nothing special. A good buy for the money without a doubt the nicest in it's price range but a very basic amp. The perfect amp for a beginer with a Squire.

Great little amp.It is everything the description says it is.I have an old fender amp with 2-12's in it and the thing hurt my body lugging it down my steps and into my car to go to jams. So I was looking for something small but loud enough to play with others. I have other amps for different situations but for the type of small jam sessions the we have, this will work good.

Fender Frontman II Review

Feels well made. It's not a $5000 boutique amp, but definitely feels sturdy! Plastic doesn't feel cheap and the design is pretty asthetically pleasing. Fender logo is attached securely too!
Reliability
How has it stood up over time?
Seems solid. The back reinforcement bar is a little more beefy that the one found on the SuperChamp XD. It's a solid state, so I dont' really forsee having any major issues.

Nice bright Fender clean tones. Gain channel is half decent as well.

Very clean and simple design, which I like. Classic Fender silver mesh grille and top hat adjustment knobs look nice together. The handle is comfortable and the chrome on the corners keep it well protected. Nice vinyl covering should last a good while as well.
Action
How was the action out of the box?
Knobs turn smoothly and the power rocker switch works well. Other than that, nothing else to report.

I read alot of reviews before I made my purchase. Never played through. Listened to some YouTube clips and thought it sounded serviceable. Turns out to be a very decent sounding amp. Does it do everything well? No--then again, you can pay 10-to-20 times that much and say the same thing. It is louder than you think. If you work with it, and use hot humbuckers with an edge, you can obtain a variety of rock tones. It is loud enough to be heard on stage. Mich through the mains and bring a little back through the monitors and you'll be just-right-tight.
