Quality
Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable?
I have only had my Rumble 15 for a short while and I can tell you that I have not had problems with the equipment or the way it performs. I would recommend this to someone who is learning bass or who just wants a good little amp to play around the house.
Features
What do you consider to be the best features of this product? What features would you add to this product if you could?
For me, I will take it as it is. After all it is a small practice amp. It's like putting 21 inch rims on a Ford Pinto.
Sound
How is the tone?
I had a Dean Bassola 10 watt amp and let me tell you that I was not too eager to practice. Fender's claim that the Rumble 15 definitely provides inspiration and motivation to play or learn how to play. I used to average about an hour or two before the Rumble 15 and now I can practice that much in a day!! The sound is deep and rich and can be adjusted to your taste. I have a Dean 09 Edge (I know...but I needed something to build my playing ability and I recently purchased and Ibanez SR 300 which booms quite nicely (had to get headphones to practice to not bother my neighbor upstairs).
Tone
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
This applies mostly to guitars so I will keep this one short. The EQ on my Ibanez in conjunction with the Fender Rumble 15 I can pretty much dial it up as I want.
