Subject:
It will do until he gets bigger.
Quality:
Quality seems ok. The neck is straight and everything works.
Reliability:
Don't know only had it a week
Overall:
I bought it for my 6 yr old son to learn on. It fits him pretty good and i think he will be able to learn on it o.k. or atleast until he can handle a full size guitar.
Playability and Feel:
I dont know if it is the strings or what but it don't stay tuned long. I played around with it through my peavey vypyr amp and it was ok. the neck pickup was quiet but the rest were pretty noisey. But this is a you get what you pay for deal. But i believe it will be easier for him to learn on it and it is better than the XXXX guitars.
Tone:
The tone is ok. the pickups were noisey but the amp you have hooked to it also makes a big difference.
Finish:
finish looks good. I havent found any blimishes yet. But it is being handled by a 6 year old, just give him time. LOL
Action:
Other than tuning everything seemed to work just fine. overall i'm happy with it. I know he is because he loves it.

Quality:
maybe dependable, but easily the lowest quality name brand guitar i have ever seen. in new musical instruments you get what you pay for, and $100 is about as cheap as it gets.
Sound:
surprisingly good....not that far from my mustang, but a lot cheaper sounding. To me, its not the kind of guitar better pickups would help.
Overall:
i bought it to travel with, but in the end opted for a full size guitar. Its just a little too small for me, even though I play a mustang and a lp jr from time to time. I do wish that I had it when I was 8 or 9, because my regular sized strat felt huge back then.
Tone:
like a cheaper, shorter mustang with an extra pick up.
Action:
really, really bad.

Squier Mini Stratocaster
Sound:
The tone is bright, but can be toned down by using the controls on the amp. For a guitar this inexpensive, the pickups work and sound great.
Reliability:
Don't really know yet. I've only had the guitar for two weeks.
Overall:
The action and overall look and feel of this guitar was amazing. A small package with a big voice. It was purchased as a travel guitar but I'm using it more than my expensive full size Strat's.
Playability and Feel:
The neck is slim and feels good. The action was set up perfectly and it plays great.
Tone:
Bright and snappy. Just the way a Strat should be.
Finish:
The finish is perfect.
Action:
The action was set up perfect. Not too low and not too high. Very easy to play.
