General What is your overall opinion of this product? For the savings this is the best I have found ive did a bit of research and picked this one looks and feels and plays like a real telecaster I would recomend this to anyone Quality What is your opinion of the quality of this product? How does it work for different genres of music? The best quality in the what I call discount guitars Feel Heavy, fast, chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? Fast and chunky just like the old 50s and 60s telecaster I love it Tone How is the tone? Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick or thin? Not quite as bright as I like but pretty close Finish How did the stain or paint job look? Ultimate the finish job was nothing but perfection Value Did you get what you were expecting for the price? How does it compare to similar products in the same price range? I got more than what I thought this is a great guitar Playability How was the action out of the box? Pretty good a little tweeking but over all good
i cant put it down it plays so good

General What is your overall opinion of this product? This is the guitar deal of the century! Don't be fooled by the low price on this one. Fender does put it's name on some poor quality gear these days, but not the case here. I love this guitar! It's got the great Tele tone. I only (easily) made one minor intonation adjustment on low E. Plays amazing all up and down the neck & tunes great! Only complaint, frets had sharp ends. A little careful touch-up and all is fantastic! Beautiful & flawless finish on the body & chrome hardware. Neck is really nice! All was better than I expected & I had already played a friend's before this. Quality What is your opinion of the quality of this product? How does it work for different genres of music? It does what you would expect a Tele to do. Quality is excellent! Great Fender twang and tone. Expect some minor buzz on any single coil pickup on any guitar. I played with my band tonight. Sounded fantastic with no noticeable buzz. It tunes & plays better than my Fender Strat that was more than 3X the price. Feel Heavy, fast, chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? The neck is great. Controls work great & easy. This is like an original Tele with an even better bridge set-up having individual string saddles. You can fine tune each string on intonation and action height. It was very nicely adjusted right out of the box. Controls are easy and work great while playing. Tone How is the tone? Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick or thin? It has a full range of tone from classic Fender bright shimmering twang (Good for leads) to warm mellow full body rhythm. I haven't tried through effects yet, but expect good results. It sustains forever! Finish How did the stain or paint job look? The urethane finish is flawless & shows a very beautiful wood grain under nice gloss coating. All hardware is perfect chrome. Clean and shiny. Couldn't be better. Value Did you get what you were expecting for the price? How does it compare to similar products in the same price range? I got more than expected, even thought I pretty much hoped for a nice guitar based on prior experience with one a friend has. I don't know of another electric guitar that comes close at twice this price. Playability How was the action out of the box? The action on mine is perfect. No need to adjust. It came with .009"'s (strings) I will probably switch to .010"'s because I play a lot of rhythm, but am loving the way it is now.
What a great guitar!

General Your general opinion of this product. I just wanted to review my positive experience with this squire telecaster. After I purchased it, I lowered the action a little and intonated it and it is a great little guitar. I love it! Check out you tube on how to set the guitar up and dont be afraid to play with it a little.

Your general opinion of this product. This has to be the best guitar in it's price range . IMO, it's just as good as a Fender MIM Standard Telecaster but at a fraction of the cost. Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? Mine is a 2013 model which was made in January according to the serial number on the back of the headstock. Squier has really improved the quality of their guitars since moving production to China. I could not find a single flaw with mine at all. Everything on this guitar is top notch considering it's price. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? Even though these stock pickups are a bit bright , it's a Telecaster and that's how they're supposed to be. I don't see any reason to swap them out at all . They can go from a soft soulful ballad to a full all out, raging beast , depending on what you are playing . This is one versatile guitar that can handle any genre IMO. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? The Butterscotch finish along with the Black pickguard is just beautiful and gives off that vintage 1950's look, which I love.
