Product Review
Picked this up for my kid who wanted to start learning how to play. I own an Fender American Deluxe, which I love, so we went for this specific bass. It feels great! I don't think I've played another bass in the price range that feels better.
Great build for the price range.
The Jazz bass features are great and work and play as they should.
The neck is very thin - Excellent for our young beginner. FAST.
I purchased the Candy Apple Red and it looks terrific. It's a really neat finish.
Tuned it up and it was ready to go. Didn't need to play with the action! Awesome.

Product Review
Purchased this to switch over from a P-Bass. I really like the P-Bass, but I find the body shape and slimmer neck of the J-Bass a little more comfortable.
So far it's great! I can't find any flaws.
Because of the body and neck shape, it feels slimmer than my old P-Bass.
Seems a little brighter than the P-Bass. I like how you can get a slightly different tone by fingering over the neck or bridge pick-up.
Looks great! I purchased this as a "scratch and dent" special from AMS, and after looking it over, I still can't find any flaws in the finish! Thanks AMS!
Yes...actually it is better than what I expected at the price I paid.
No complaints. I'm still a student of the bass, but everything feels great as it is.

Very dependable. Always ready to go. Takes a good amount of abuse before it kicks back.
The custom kill switch I installed on mine.... :)
Easy to change to exactly what I want to hear.
Easy to play. I play metal and its a great bass.
Full range of tone as I need it. Great lows.
Finish looks great. Can crack easily.
Great action. Right where it needed to be.

Very well made, though tuners seem to be flimsy in appearance, they do work well.
Best feature for me was the passive pick-ups, no more dealing with batteries.
sound is how you adjust it, only 1 tone control and 2 volume controls for each pickup.
After playing for so long on $650 Sound Gear by Ibanez, the neck is very thick and takes some getting used to.
Tone is what you make of it, with going through sound processors not much of an original tone left.
The finsh was excellent
The action was acceptable.

I played my friends Fender Jazz and to tell you the truth there is very little difference between the two. Played this morning with my church worship team Know Him. All the band was blown away but its good looks and tone. Ive owned it for less than a month but practice everyday with it.
Fast neck. I own a six string, but i got this axe to teach my younger sons. I would not add a thing.
Fender quality
Fast neck, weight is just right for a beginner or a seasoned player. tThe controls are set up just right, talk about making quick changes on the fly.
You can dial in just about any sound you want.
Found no flaws on this baby. Not even a smudge when I was unwrapping it.
The action was great right out of the box. I connected it to my practice amp and man what a sweet sound.
