This is a beautiful, great sounding guitar
Quality:
This guitar is very well put together and the materials and components feel better than other guitars costing more. The pickguard look to me like the same used in more expensive Fenders and that's a nice thing. The neck is straight, feels strong and no buzz. The hardware seems to be of good quality except of the tuning machines, they feel cheap and not as smooth as I like. However, they hold the tuning in place for days without need for retuning.
Reliability:
Too soon to tell but time will tell. However, being a well put together and previous experiences with other high end Squier guitars, this one should last years with proper care and maitenance.
Overall:
This is a great value for the money. Just for $249.99 it is very difficult to find a guitar as good as the Jagmaster.
Playability and Feel:
The guitar is not heavy and feels solid, play fast due to the smooth finish and shape of the neck. The controls being arranged the same way as the Stratocaster is familiar to me and therefore easy to get to while playing. The guitar is a pleasure to hold and play both standing and seated because it is well balanced.
Tone:
The tone is very good in my opinion and a bit thick. The Humbuckers have reasonable good output. However, I recommend replacing them with better ones if you are a serious player. I guess they are good for beginners.
Finish:
The three colors vintage sunburst is beautiful and the high gloss makes it look even better. However, my guitar in the back had early signs of wood cracking with the finish being pushed up on top of it. I bet it was just one in thousands that came like this. Not sure if the guitar came like this from the manufacturer of it was due to poor storing conditions.
Action:
The action was to my liking and intonation very good.

Very Impressive
Quality:
Seems very well made, besides the toggle switch. It feels pretty cheap. The pots are also a little cheap feeling but it doesn't detract from the greatness of this guitar.
Sound:
Pretty good for a guitar under 300 dollars. Its obviously though that the cheaper price gets you cheaper electronics. I might replace the bridge pickup but the neck pup is great.
Reliability:
I've only had it a month or so, but everything seems pretty solid. The only thing that I see breaking is the toggle switch.
Overall:
Great Guitar for its price range! I know people say that a lot but in all reality, this is a gem! Despite this being a Squire, feels very much like a Regular Fender.
Playability and Feel:
The neck is the crowning achievement of this guitar. I think its better than a neck on my friends Fender Standard Tele. Nice and chunky in the lower frets and then gets thinner as you work up. And the darker vintage stain on it is gorgeous! The frets were very nice as well and blended very well in to the sides of the frets.
Tone:
Very Thick, Mellow sound when you have the both or the neck pickup on. The bridge pick up is a little weak. Easily replaced though.
Finish:
Aw man, The vintage sunburst finish looks great and is on par with actual Fender models.
Action:
Nice, low action. The nut was placed very well.

Quality:
For the price tag, I'd say this guitar is very high quality. I would hold it up against the higher priced Fenders all day. Showed it off to my dad, and some buddies, everyone is really impressed with it. And they definitely should be. This thing rocks
Sound:
The tone really impressed me. Didn't seem like there is a whole lot of variation with the knob, but the sound you get is really good anyway. Has a great "woody" sound to it and is definitely on par with much more expensive guitars. I had ordered a set of pickups for it but ended up liking the sounds enough that I sent them back.
Reliability:
I have only had this guitar a few days, so I can't really say how it will hold up, but it appears to be put together fairly well. I don't foresee any major issues.
Overall:
This guitar is much more than I expected. Really didn't know what to expect, hadn't ever played a Squier but I decided to quit being so snobby and pick this one up, especially since I didn't feel like shelling out 800 big ones for a Jaguar/Jazzmaster. The body style is what I really liked so I figured I'd give it a try.
Playability and Feel:
It feels like the very first time...pretty good overall. Not too heavy, somewhere between a strat and a les paul. Stock strings are a little cheap feeling, to me anyways. Feels sturdy though. Selector switch is fine, the knobs seem a little chincy though, I've heard that the pots are not very good. Other than that, it feels pretty great.
Tone:
Bridge pickup is exactly how I like it, it's bright and clear. Hopefully will sound just a little hotter after I raise it up. They sit really low from the factory. Neck pickup sounds great too, kinda of that warm, bluesy sound, great for clean strumming and what not.
Finish:
Paint looks pretty good. I have the 3 tone sunburst and it does look great. Doesn't look as clean as the fenders when placed next to each other, but when it stands alone, it looks great, not much to complain about, especially for the price.
Action:
Action is ok. Not the best, it's not as fast as a strat or something similar, but it is def not the worse either. I haven't had it set up yet either so I'm still curious as to how it will be then.

Great player, needs better shielding
Quality:
The guitar will hold up but needs better wiring. Solder joints questionable and I found the ground wire to the tremolo had broke. Needs copper around those wires!
Sound:
Good sounding guitar.
Reliability:
Other than the shielding problem it developed it held up well. Stays in tune, great action. I've had the axe for three years and it still plays awesome.
Overall:
A good guitar from the Peoples Republic. Especially for the money. Plays great but developed a nasty static problem when strumming. I moved and shielded the wired from the PU switch which helped a little.
Playability and Feel:
Not much to complain about at this price point it has been a great guitar.
Tone:
Nice sounding... smooth and mellow... I use it with a line 6 and it sounds awesome.
Finish:
Held up great.

I think this guitar was made very well. The body and neck stand up against any "high end" guitar, and all the hardware is placed with precision- it's just that some of the hardware isn't really top notch- but hey, how much did I pay for this??? Besides I can replace tuners and PUPs- right?
Sound:
Very jazzy- sweet tone. Not alot of treble comes out of it.
Reliability:
Cannot know for sure just got it.
Overall:
This guitar feels really nice to play- it begs to play either a fat rythm or a jazzy/ bluesy type song. It could be used for anything with some good pickups in it. Some locking tuners would probably help too.
Playability and Feel:
One adjusted this thing plays like butter- very smooth and the strings are easy to bend. I love the way this thing feels when you play it!!
Tone:
Very smooth sounding low tone sounding, giving it either a grungy dity sound, or a smooth jazzy clean sound
Finish:
Very pretty - I love the way it looks!
Action:
Out of the box, it had fret buzz. I ended up having to go online and learn how to adjust bridge saddles and the truss rod. Also had to raise the pickups.

Quality:
You can't beat the quality and the price on the Jagmaster, a beautiful guitar. Great tone and pickups.
Sound:
Great sound good coming from a $279.00 guitar has blown my mind. She holds her own against the high price Fender the guys play in church.
Reliability:
Seem to be well made and i beat on it and she holds her own. If you take care of it i believe she will be your long time friend.
Overall:
Great guitar and she is good looking. Took her out of the box tuned it and went to playing, she is awesome. You can't go wrong with this one. Get one and you want be sorry.
Playability and Feel:
Feels great playing the neck is great, don't cramp my fingers, this is my second guitar the other one i put down. Playing is easy don't have to press so hard, she feels so good.
Tone:
Smooth sound and the strings stay in tune after bending them. Stay in tone a long time without retuning them. You can adjust the tone to you liking and play until
Finish:
Impressive looking guitar, mines is black & white and i am proud to own it.

Best Bang For The Buck!
Quality:
Very high quality. The craftsmanship on this guitar is outstanding
Reliability:
This is my main stage guitar. I beat on it at gigs all around Phoenix. I would pit this against and Gibson product. It stays in tune!
Overall:
The best guitar I have! I have a Les Paul, Schecter Ultra III, Strat, Gretsch and this is my all time favorite
Playability and Feel:
Has a really good bendability in the strings, and yet goes right back in tune. Very lightweight and easy to play for a four hour show
Tone:
The tone is incredible! I plug this thing straight into my Marshall JVM and need no effects. Good raw tone
Finish:
The finish is good. Not really big on finishes but this one holds its shine
Action:
The level of the strings and the flexibility of the action was great!

Great guitar for a great price.
Quality:
I was very pleased with the quality of this guitar. Everything seems to be tight and working properly. I bought it and played a show with it the same night and it held up through all of my abuse on it so it def is a well made guitar.
Reliability:
Just recently purchased but so far so good. I dont forsee any problems in the near future but you never know.
Overall:
I am in love with this guitar. I had an Ibanez GAX70 and the neck weighed more than the body of the guitar and it gave me terrible hand cramps when playing. But on this one i played 2 sets with 2 different bands and my hand never cramped one time. The tone is beautiful and the pickups that come stock are great.
Playability and Feel:
Plays like a dream, a smooth fast neck and i like that there are only 2 knobs. No need to complicate anything with this guitar. Just plug it in and play and it will sound great.
Tone:
The tone is absolutely beautiful. It really has a great Fender sound for a much much less price.
Finish:
The guitar just looks great. That is what initially got me interested in these guitar. It def is an eye catcher.
Action:
I bought the store display but even with all the playing that had been done on it the action never suffered. Plays great.
