A wonderful starter and beyond.
Quality:
Amazing. I put my SA100 through absolute heck, and after two years it still played like the day I got it, the finish was only mildly deteriorated, and I rarely had to tune it.
Reliability:
By far the most reliable guitar I have ever owned. Certainly a very durable instrument.
Overall:
I would highly suggest this guitar for anyone who is just starting out, and even to those who have been playing for years but scoff at the idea of buying "A cheap fender knock-off." I own a fender now, but would give anything to have my SA100 back. I only had one issue. My 13th fret on the high e was dead.
Playability and Feel:
A super easy to play guitar. It doesn't fret too hard, the neck is an ideal width, and the weight was amazing. Not too heavy, not flimsily feelingly light.
Tone:
One of my favorite aspects of this guitar was how easily the tone could be manipulated. Perfect for all styles. Overall thought it tends to be more bright with a wonderful amount of twang.
Finish:
The finish was absolutely fine. Of course it's nothing fancy, but it works and holds up extremely well to the elements.
Action:
I tuned it and started playing. No problems.
Skill Level:
Intermediate
