Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? I have been playing guitars of different brands from Gibson antiques and Les Paul Customs to brnds that don't have a name; I have always been a fan of Fenders, well made reliable and hold their tunings. Reliability How has it stood up over time? I have only had the dg-8s for about five years and don't play as much as I used to but it's a good guitar. General Your general opinion of this product. Some more exspensive models from other brands sound better, but with the right strings you can't beat it. Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? The action can be tweaked a little but still a little slow but to get any better you'ld probably have to spend 2-5 times as much. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? Depending on pick selection and string gauge and brand you can get just about anything out of it, as far as acoustics go. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? Doesn't chip too easily looks good with very minimal care, a good cloth once in a while and your good. Action How was the action out of the box? Didn't buy it new, but haven't done anything to this one and its good to go.
