I also use a Fishman SOlo Amp & never had problems with Fishman products. I see no reason tto think there will be a difference in the AFX Delay Pedal General Your general opinion of this product. Although I only provided 3 stars for overall rating, this is chiefly related to the price. This seems to be the most expensive acoustic delay pedal on the planet. However, it is also the BEST in the tone & sound categories. For the price, one should have also received a power adapter, but I had to lay 14 bucks down for that, too. Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? Very solidly built. Feels good and beefy, not light and flimsy. Controls feel very fluid & smooth. Connections feel tight & secure. Use good cables on this little jewel, and you will be rewarded with musical bliss. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? Hard to describe the sound for me. It's just the best I've heard for the acoustic tone in all my years. You see, I'm an older dude, been playing for over 55 years. The only downside of the pedal.... period..... is the price! You can buy cheaper delays for an acoustic, but you won't find one that sounds better for the acoustic guitar. I've been wanting one for 2 years, and have been searching that long for a review, but could be they don't sell that well due to the price? It's a shame, because it sounds the best! hands down, there's no comparisson when looking at other brands. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? Very smart. There are 2 modes, as previously stated. The Analog side, and then, the digital side. The stamping of the titles of the modes could have been applied with a little darker & bolder graphics for the modes to be better read. Action How was the action out of the box? Very Smooth. Although the digital side is very clean & smooth, my personal taste tends to influence me to the analog side of this great pedal.
