Product Rating Product Review This is a surprisingly useful stompbox. It has an octave up setting which comes on when you turn it on but you can also add a fourth down and an a fifth up. The tracking is outstanding. It never seems to glitch out. It makes every song sound like the first Jimmi Hendrix experience album where the bass lines are doubled with guitar. The power chord feature is a great effect, particularly on sustained notes. Great for a power trio.

Product Review very very well made. meticulously packaged as well. this is a professional audio processing effect that is best suited for experienced musicians. it reflects your playing. beginners may not be pleased at hearing their off playing in chord form. excellent quality. very solid. feels very solid. great set of features. i like the ability to mix the output of the clean or effected signal or send it to a board with separate outputs for each. could use more tone control if you are using the overdrive function and as well it would be nice if an onboard fuzz/distortion was added.. but that can easily be added with another pedal. the sound is incredible. i am using it with a cello and it really thickens it up - i can play nice etherial leads to metal percussive rhythms with it. the trick is to balance the clean and effect output as if you do not, the effect out adds some gain and will overpower the clean and you will lose the original note value in the mix. it is also important that the instrument has a strong signal for the best tracking - also best to not use too many open notes as these sometimes continue to play as you move the nest note and can confuse the unit, as expected because often a dissonant chord is created in the overtones. it responds to how you play, so if your playing is off, it will sound off - it does not cover up bad playing like many effects. excellent feel. a little on the large size but still single 9v. it may seem pricy but that is would you pay for having top end digital audio converters in it. it is basically a very dedicated computer. it is well worth it if you value your sound above all.

Solid durable case. Great set of power-chord features. Most useful are 1 Octave Up, and 1 Octave Up + 2 Octaves Up + the 5th between. Also the ability to send the effects to a separate amp is great! Effectively, you can run the guitar signal to your guitar amp while the bass signal goes to you bass amp. The effects signal is a little weak, even with the proper trim adjustment, but a clean boost can compensate for that. Your general opinion of this product. A great idea, but it doesn't really work well. The effects signal doesn't track well at all, and can't always find the right notes. When you play moderately fast... it's like the box is trying to find the right note but just can't. When playing slowly, a 6/8 blues for example, the tracking is so bad that it's just not usable. The tone of the effects signal isn't the greatest but is "good enough". Well built. N/A

As I said built like a tank, been using it for 6 weeks, home, practice, and a couple of gigs, no problems... bought the a/c adapter so, I cannot speak to the length of battery life. This unit is all about choice.. octave up .... add a 4th below that...or combine with or add the 5th above the octave... and to top it off a guitar power chord of octave above bass, octave above that, with the 5th in between... even has a separate output for the effect for a guitar amp Honestly, the 4th, and the upper guitar chord sound fantastic, the 5th by itself sounds weak. What sounds like too much in the bedroom will get drowned out with the band, you have to crank the effect and it's fine... your INTONATION is key, if your off a little, it will be off, and sound like it. You have to hit the strings with authority and it sounds great... just barely touch the strings and you get a crappy metallic sound like a flanger with the regeneration cranked or a poor sound. well thought out additions of a noise gate, which actually is more useful than you think, overdrive, blend from completely off to full bore screaming guitar to the point of feedback ala hendrix. Tone control and a effect level to blend from just a slight guitar on top to guitar way over the top. Overall I love this unit... It's not perfect, but you can find ways to make it work with your playing.. If your off at all, pitch wise, so will the harmonies!! But to quote my drummer " wow, that sounds like a guitar player is playing with you." construction and finish are flawless...even went to the trouble of silk screening the instructions on the back panel. This unit is built like a tank....well thought out design...right down to the 9 volt battery compartment...no wires, just slide it in.
