Product Rating Product Review Fishman has put out a great product. Tracking is tight and their factory sounds are quality, ( no cheesy Casio sounds) and lots of usable patches! Hooked it up to an external sound engine, and am super happy to now have it as a live rig( via the FC1 foot controller) and it fits on my pedalboard!

Bracket for Tune o matic bridge

Product Review The bracket for tune o matic bridge did not fit my Epiphone SG. So I put 2 layers of magnetic tape strips to get the pickup closer to the strings. And a lot of the patches are not sounding. And the latency is hard to deal with. But I'm keeping it just the same. Maybe I just installed it on the wrong guitar.

YOU NEED TO KNOW QUITE A BIT ABOUT USING AND INSTALLING THE COMPUTER SOFTWARE FOR THIS TOOL!!

Product Review This is an easy to install hardware. Well built also. The instructions are easy to follow and there are also videos on Youtube on how to get this done. At first I had trouble getting the software to load on my computer and it kept giving me warnings and telling me that software was outdated. It took me a long time to get the software to finally read and connect with my guitar. When trying to get patches, the software has been hard for me to navigate. There is not a good manual in the package that helps with all the windows and messages that pop up about other software you need to get. I got frustrated and to this point have not been able to get software to make the system work. The navigation of the different programs that need to be installed and having to subscribe and download bunches of software into your computer is tedious and very impractical for those of us who are not computer savy. I am hoping to find a friend that will help me get all the software to work correctly and to have the downloads I need so that I can use this great product!

A Guitar Controller that You Can Use Live Without Fear

Product Review Since 1993 I have made my living composing original music for film, tv, and events. Guitar is my principal instrument, and I am a lousy keyboard player. Therefore, I have had to use midi guitar controllers since 1993 in order to be viable in that field. The only controllers available before the Fishman Triple Play were the Roland GKs and the Graphtech Ghosts. While both of those were decent for recording, they were too scary to be used live because of the pitch bend issues, pitch slide issues, and nutty random midi -artifacts- noises that make ones guitar sound like it has Tourettes syndrome. The Triple Play, however enables me to have enough confidence in its accurate tracking to use it live with software programs and sound libraries (that are greatly superior sonically to any hardware synths with which I am familiar),, The most important thing I wish to say is that there is not another music product on the planet at this moment that will more greatly enhance a guitar player sonically, increase his audience appeal, or open-up his creative opportunities than the Fishman Triple Play. It is hard to imagine a guitarist who would not be thrilled to have one.

Product Review great wireless connection; however, somewhat defeats the purpose a bit needing to connect the TC-1 to a computer.

Outstanding little piece of gear!

Product Review This is a great way to save time and headaches from having to haul around so many different pieces of gear. From keyboard/piano, to flute, or violins, this thing can play a huge variety of musical instruments out there and all from your guitar. Hardware was very easy to install and software is simple and straight forward! If you gig and or perform a variety of covers then this is the one piece of gear you need to have!

Product Review As in many things things with technology, spend some time getting all of your systems in the right specs. After that the amount of control you have over any synth or any midi controllable elements is amazing.

Great for the studio but not live

Product Review Excellent for studio creativity, but not great for switching sounds while playing live. A footboard is needed. That is where the Roland GR-55 outperforms this unit. Still, if you just want it for writing and exploring different sounds, great product.

Product Review I received my fishman product when I expected and as soon as receiving it I followed the download instructions without a hitch. I've used in a live setting with a little cocern of having issues but did not have any our sound man ran it to the mixing board and it played real well with no interference with our wireless mics and zero latency. I am very pleased

Ghost notes

Product Review Mounting is much easier than GR-20. I like the design that allows you to slide the pickup into the holder. This allows the unit to be removable and be able to be transferred to another guitar. The only thing I have a hard time with are the ghost notes. Even after adjusting the sensitivity I still get them so it requires “gentle” touch to avoid them and accurate picking. I wish there was a way to cancel in-between notes when changing chords. There’s tons of software that came with it plus the free downloads once registered. I’m wondering if the bulk of the price is because of the software bundle. Fishman should offer a scaled down version without software bundles to make it more affordable. Overall, with the short time I’ve used it, I think I’m not gonna have any issue learning how to use it. I mainly do worship songs and looking forward to enhancing worship using pads and tracks.

Product Review I have switched from the Roland Gr55 to the Tripleplay. I am impressed with the technology, but am struggling a little bit with the software... The self contained Roland unit is handy, but the options that you have with the Fishman make it a better overall system. I am going through a little bit of a learning curve. For $400, it is a fantastic unit with so many recording and live performance possibilities... The sounds are world class. Get yours today..

Product Review I have owned a Roland Guitar Synth in the past and the tracking on the Triple Play is awesome and it even tracks bends and slides. The only downside is there is definitely a learning curve so don't expect to buy it and use it the next day on a gig. lol

Product Review After viewing installs on You Tube I decided that this item was pretty good and easy to install. Wrong. The item may be good but I've had it now for about a week and still have had no luck installing the software and getting it to work. I have loaded it, removed it and re-loaded it about 5 times. I finally got the presets to show up in the window where they belong but still have yet to be able to get them to produce any sound. I can see the guitar strings in the window as I hit them but still no sound through the midi. I have called Fishman service and emailed them as well. it took three days to get an answer back on the email and the rep I spoke to on the phone was very little help. At this point I am just about ready to scrap the entire thing and return it. The tech support is not really helpful and the manuals that come with it are vague at best. Had I known this prior to the purchase I would have not bought it at all. I am also a computer software trainer so it's not me.

Product Review Tracks really good! Would recommend to others. Easy if you want to just plug it into your ipad or computer. Software is a little tougher but I got it after tinkering.... You can do so much with this thing!!! So fun. Worth it for sure.
