I've had the Gator hard case for several weeks now. Good balance on carrying. Not too light to be a protection concern, not too heavy to be a burden. First case I've ever bought online so I really didn't know what to expect. I've been pleasantly surprised and pleased with all aspects of the case, and have noticed no downside in any way. I especially like being able to stand it up vertically using the 4 steel buttons on the bottom edge. Still, I'm going to forgo the "Have my neighbor run over it with his Jeep to see how strong it is" test.

I purchased a Yamaha FSC-TA Cutaway TransAcoustic Guitar Ruby Red and it didn't come with a case. After speaking to a knowledgeable AMS customer service rep, I decided to purchase this case. Always a little cautious when it comes to third party guitar cases, but this fit my Yamaha like a glove. Solid construction, and smooth operating latches make this the perfect case to secure your guitar while on the road.

It’s a case to put a Dreadnaught in. It works as a case. I’m giving it 3 stars not because of any issues persay, but just because it is lacking the premium feel that you will expect from a Gibson or Fender hard case. I got this to put an Epiphone IBG Hummingbird (the $800 one) and it fits in this case but the case feels cheaper than an Epiphone hard case does. In closing I would recommend this case for anyone who wants a case to use occasionally and doesn’t mind it lacking the premium feel. But I wouldn’t recommend this case to use for a guitar that costs more than around $500. I’d consider it an affordable case for an affordable guitar. If you go in with that mindset it’ll do. But I was thinking based on the price and product page that this was a much more premium case than it actually was. That’s why 3 stars.

Bought this for my daughter's Gypsy Luna Dreadnought 12 string Acoustic and it was about an inch too short. Is a great quality case. Very heavy duty for transportation of instruments. Just have to make sure your instrument will fit properly before purchasing.

I prefer a hardshell case for my guitars. My Martin GPC 11e came with a "soft case". I'm too cheap to pay $269. for a Martin case, not gonna happen. This case fits my guitar very nicely. It has a plush interior with the accessory compartment that I like for capos, etc. I'm very satisfied with my purchase. Also it shipped fast! I sold my soft case locally for 50 bucks to make the deal even sweeter.

I ordered this with an Epiphone DR100 the case is nearly 3 inches to short for the guitar. My CD60 and my CC60sce both to long. I had a cheap dreadnought from Amazon that is slightly smaller that did not fit either. I don't know what it fits but nothing I have. I needed this to travel this week, I wont be taking a guitar this trip for sure. Setting up a return was easy so there's that.

I got this along with my Yamaha 340 absolutely amazing I have a 4 year old autistic son that come across my guitar in this case in my wife's office one day .let me tell I love this kid but he could tear up a tank but this case was amazing I'm sure it was stepped on,bounced off the floor and who knows what and guitar and case are perfectly fine as soon as I pay this order off I already have a epiphone and a case in my cart woo hoo love it

My new acoustic guitar I got from this site fits very well in this case that is not bulky like the olden days, made very durable and fairly easy on a bad back to carry around plus it has a nice size cargo area for tools, strings, repair kit, etc.. Not to make time to relearn how to play as I promised my Pops, but put taking lessons off and he physically won't be able to hear me play once I catch onto the chords/song notes. I should have learned the banjo lessons when offered so I could have played my banjo when I put on a 50th wedding anniversary party for my parents, now Pops went home above...I am making it a priority for before fall comes around.

ABS cases are by nature not as strong and durable as plywood, but you don't have to worry about tolex skin peeling or tearing. The padded interior is second to none and protects your darling completely.
As long as you don't bump it hard or drop it from 2 stories you're good forever-mine got cracked in shipping, so I had to do a little repair work with some 5-minute epoxy. Got a great price on it because of this.

Solid dreadnought case that gets the job done, nice cushy interior to baby my Alvarez acoustic. The ABS exterior is a bit brittle, so watch out for any "hard knocks" or it will crack.

This is an extremely well made case. Hinges and closing clasps are top of the line. The interior is plush and tight along the edges. It's a great fit for my Aria APSTDII Parlour Acoustic Guitar.
It's still new, but I expect it will last as long as my Martin molded case.

Looks good. Fits a dread guitar just fine, with no room to slide around. Small enclosed box for extra strings, tuner, etc.
Looks like it will hold up just fine. I am a tiny bit concerned about the latches as they seem sort of lightweight, and I might replace them later.

Well done. Latches are a bit cheap, and the case doesn't quite close smoothly (there is a spot or two where the aluminum trim snags but it will close easily enough. Inside is nice and plush to protect the guitar just fine.

QUALITY:
this is a well made case, and should last alot of years. i've spent alot more money on cases that were not made any better. it has a nice large handle and all latches and hardware are good quality.i really liked the metal cleats on the side because they keep the case from being skint up while sitting on it's side, also it's well balanced.
FEATURES:
looks are'nt everything but i was surprised when i saw the lining inside looks great instead of those cases with linings that look like animal fur this is as plush as some cases costing twice as much "looks and safety" what a deal!
EASE OF USE:
lid opens and closes easily and seals to keep out moisture and dust.
VALUE:
this is the best spent money in a while, and at at this price i will purchase another one for my other guitar.
