I am a professional drummer and was looking for an inexpensive bag that would allow me the ability to carry 4 pair of sticks, 2 pair of brushes, a pair of mallets, and a pair of rods. This fits the bill perfectly. I also wanted an outside pocket for accessories like felts, extra hi-hat clutch, small screwdriver, metronome, drum keys, triangle beater, etc. The horizontal- opening zippered pocket holds it all and enables me to access any of it quickly.
Value:
Can't beat this bag for value. Plenty of room for sticks, brushes, and mallets. What I like the most is the outside zippered pocket for accessories. Most of the other, more expensive, bags have a top open vertical pocket which makes it difficult to access whatever might be sitting at the bottom of the pocket. This zippered pocket opens horizontally giving you quick access to anything inside.
Durability:
I've only had the bag a short time, but it appears to be well constructed with a nice heavy zipper and soft vinyl which allows for some expansion of the bag without putting strain on the zippers.
