This amp work great no problem so far use it twice but the fan is a little loud not bad at all. Because the fan spins faster than other amps fans that makes it louder l like that because it pushes more air to keep it cool.

Used my amp for its first gig last week. Works well out of the box. Plenty of distortion-free power for two 8 ohm JBL speaker cabinets running in stereo with 15" LF drivers turned up fairly loud. Two areas I recommend for improvement: 1) The fan(s) run at a constant speed regardless of amp power utilization and are extremely loud. This was disadvantageous for the venue where I performed which was initially a dinner requiring our group to perform background jazz; and 2) the amp creates noticeably loud turn-off transients - disturbingly loud "pops" - even with volume controls at zero, when being switched off.

I love these amps. Can be used in plenty of variations. Easy to understand and use. I like the all black and simple front of unit. I think these amps can easily be compared to Crown at only 1/2 the price. I also like the large practically invisible horizontal cooling vents on the front. Perfectly matched the screw holes on my rack. Something tells me these will last a long long time.

Got this amplifier hooked it up to my existing pa system and the power button was junk soon as it powered up the fuse blew .. the amp never made a sound ever!!! Junk!!! It's actually the 2nd one which has done same thing now I'm out over 500 bucks

Great manufacturer customer service. The unit we purchased had a defective power switch. The unit worked but every time we turned it on there would be a visible spark from the power switch. Call the manufacturer, they told me to send it back and they sent me a new one. No shipping charge. Two week turn over.
The fans are loud but you don’t notice them when you are playing on stage.

I bought this Gemini 5000 watt power amp to use with my mixing board and PA speakers. I use it to push 2 15in PA Cabinets and 1 18in Subwoofer. It has plenty of power and the price is unbeatable. It is encased in a very durable case also.

I hook my Gemini xga-5000 to my 2 Fender speakers and it sounded so clear and loud enough. I will get another one for a sub woofer to give it more bass. I'm getting ready to do a small wedding and i'm sure this will do the work. I will recommend it to my friends.American Musical Supply is the best. I like their great installment plan w/ no credit check. I was able to get what I need and do my gig before I even paid it off.

Switching from a crown to Gemini was worried. I Dj 2 nights a week sometimes 3. So far i have seen it impress me. it runs my duel 15 in cabs and 2 12 inch floor monitors. my biggest complaint is the metal is a bit thin, but the loud fans don't bug me i can't hear em.
I ordered 3 of em so far the 4th is coming soon. I also powered a 18 inch 8ohm subwoofer so i decided to hook up 2 with no problem with the amp i used a crossover. Just watch for clipping. But so far i am impressed with em. The Price is right and the power is there still have not put it to 100 percent on the amp and at 8ohms at 85 it could blow my speakers.
If you on a budget and need a good amp. i would just buy the 5k watt its always better to over power then under. Just buy a power conditioner and you will be good to go!

The sound quality is ok but my other amps have a technology that communicate better with speaker. When the signal get too strong for the speaker the amp reduces the power. This amp blew my 2000 watt EV’s diaphragm in a quick whap! The volume was at the same as my other amp
