Dependable passive system. Excellent joinery on the neck and body.

The chicken head allows for some quick tonal effects that fit nicely in club settings. It gives variety without the need to be dependent upon less than reliable pedal boards.
Sound
How is its Tone?
Very diverse. Very "old school" and with good range(again thanks to the five position knob in conjunction with the volume and tone.
Playability and Feel
How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing?
Feels very comfortable. It is a quick move from a Jazz to the Ripper. The neck is fast with an excellent profile.
Tone
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
The tone can reach across from bright to warm. The pickups tend toward mellow rather than hot.
Finish
How did the stain or paint job look?
The finish was flawless. You just want to leave it in the case and open it once in awhile.
Action
How was the action out of the box?
