Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? " Very well made and dependable " Reliability How has it stood up over time? I have my Original L6S I purchased in 1978 new.It sounds better now than it did brand new. Overall Your general opinion of this product. This is a fine musical instrument Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? The neck is fat and feels good for chords and lead work. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? Pickups are hot and humbucking. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? Natural wood finish looks great over time. Action How was the action out of the box? Action is good out the box.
Awesome tonal range, top notch instrument, flawless finish.

Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? Very well made...it's a "Gibson". From previous Gibsons I've owned, this one will be around long after I'm gone. My grandkids will be enjoying it by then. Reliability How has it stood up over time? Only owned this one a couple of months but I got a feeling it will last me a long time. Overall Your general opinion of this product. One word description...."SUPERB"! Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? Not too heavy, the neck is thicker than most other guitars I own (Tele, Strat, etc.) but I'm getting accustomed to it. Love the action, it was a little high for me out of the case but after a bit of tweaking....I'm good to go. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? If you can't get the sound you like out of this jewel, you can't get happy! The "6-way" switch of the twin humbuckers (broken down to single-coils and/or humbuckers to anything in between, neck-bridge arrangement combos) you can get more than enough tones and sounds out of this Gibson. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? I looked it over top-to-bottom out of the case and it is flawless! Beautiful "Antique Natural" finish with the "Maple Fretboard" and it is extraordinary. Action How was the action out of the box? Had to adjust it down ever so slightly but after only a few minutes and a little tweaking I was jammin' away!
