I have a 1981 335[Vintage Sunburst]. It is the most amazing guitar I've ever owned. It looks and plays like new. I've been playing since I was 9 ,am now 52 and I've never owned a better playing and sounding guitar
Playability and Feel
How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing?
It was a little akward at first but now it feels like I was born with it in my hands. The neck is absoultely sweet and controls are easy to use

Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
Dark and smooth with just enough bite for any style

I don't know how it was set up out of box . Ibought it from the original owner and he said he never did anything to it .So if he hasn't the action was and is Simply Amazing
