great for blues/rock. just maybe need to turn your bass settings sown on your amp! very thick but clear

Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
these are hot, yet smooth and punchy. great sound. I'd take these over my EMG's any day
