Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? Very well made. Finish on this guitar in particular is excellent. Reliability How has it stood up over time? Personally never had a problem with a Gibson guitar. I've owned over 20 this seems as as good as any I've had. I don't expect any problem with this one either. General Your general opinion of this product. Very good to great. Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? Roughly the weight of a moderate Les Paul (9 pounds my guess) Heavier than a Melody Maker or SG (also own) but a lot less than an average mahogany Les Paul. Good comfortable weight. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? Not particularly bright or dark. Warm nice clarity and tonality, good for just about anything really. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? Outstanding. Better than the one pictured IMO. Action How was the action out of the box? Fantastic, very fast.

Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? Well made in the US. But the body is not one piece mahogany as in description. Mine has 3-piece, possbily 4-piece, body. At this price, there is no complaint. It looks like one piece body at 3 feets away! Reliability How has it stood up over time? N/A General Your general opinion of this product. Plain looking but genuine P-90 tone axe. Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? The neck is really thin and wide. I recall Ibanez Wizzard series neck with this neck. If you are looking for the 50's Les Paul base ball bat neck, try the LP traditional or 58's. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? P-90... enough said. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? I wish it would be Glossy Nitro, but satin looks also just fine. Mine has arrived dent and scratched with gig bag torn down due to shipping. Action How was the action out of the box? Pretty high around 5mm on low E, 4mm on high E. Very easy to setup by lowering the wraparound bridge. Minimum setup is required.

Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? it's Gibson. amazing General Your general opinion of this product. This is my favorite Gibson model. It's simple and 100% rock n' roll. Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? The guitar is very light and smaller than the les paul....but that just makes it better. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? A P-90 pickup was exactly what I was looking for. It rocks. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? I got it in white. Looks amazing and different. Action How was the action out of the box? Awsome. plugged it in right away.
