Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? Very, very well made. Reliability How has it stood up over time? It's has a lifetime warranty so I am not worried, but it's very well built. Overall Your general opinion of this product. Gibson's Custom Shop makes very nice stuff. This completed my 58-60 Historic collection. Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? This guitar plays extremely well, but it should for the money. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? I am not a pup snob. The burstbuckers sound just fine to me. I have them in all my Historics and see no reason to replace them. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? This should have been a scratch & dent model because it was owned before so it was not in new condition. However, AMS lowered the price accordingly when I called, so I kept it. Action How was the action out of the box? The one I bought had been purchased before and returned. I had to completely re-do the setup for .10's because it was changed.
