Gibson Customs Are The Very You Can Get!
By: Bleu Lane from Kyle (Austin), TX, USA
What is your overall opinion of this product?
I already own a number of actual 1950's Les Paul. I had recently added to my playing gear with several Custom Shop Les Pauls including a 1958 VOS Bourbon Sunburst Plain Top Les Oaul back in 2010. I am now getting ready to order several more models from this and at local store where I found a 1959 Flane Top Heritage Cherry Sunburst and 1958 Heritage Cherry Sunburst Pkain Top with Bigsby Tremelo. All of these guitars feel and play just as my actual vintage guitars, Gibson is making as good or better guitars now. I get the same accurate sound as my vintage Les Oauls. So if you are looking for the best then Gibson is definutely the best you can get.
What is your opinion of the quality of this product? How does it work for different genres of music?
Heavy, fast, chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing?
Feel just my 1958 & 1959 Les Pauls. Awesome playability! Great chucky bottom & searing violin like sustain.
How is the tone? Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick or thin?
Siunds just like my vintafe Les Pauls. Can't beat the great tone coming from these VOS reissue models.
How did the stain or paint job look?
Did you get what you were expecting for the price? How does it compare to similar products in the same price range?
Better than anything being made by any other guitar maker.
How was the action out of the box?
Fast & easy to play.
