Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? I've owned many guitars over 45 years including several Gibsons. You aren't paying the big bucks for cosmetics with this guitar, but is simply exquisit. Reliability How has it stood up over time? I've only had it two months, but it is a Gibson. I expect no issues. It's my 7th Les Paul and the first one to hold tune right out of the box. Very pleased. General Your general opinion of this product. I couldn't be more happy, and for slightly more than the price of a high end Epiphone, no comparison. Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? I love the light weight chambered body. With the P90 pickups through my Fender Champion X2 head set on '65 Deluxe Reverb with a bit of classic spring reverb dialed in it almost has that Gretch like jangle, but crank it up and the P90s wail and snarle with the best of them. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? See above, this guitar does everything. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? It is what it is, but the finish is flawless. If you neeg gloss and binding, spend $1000.00 plus for a Standard or Classic. I have the satin honeyburst and it is gorgeous. Action How was the action out of the box? Perfect

Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? This is a solid, beautiful guitar. I have the honeyburst darkback and it's an exquisite, albeit simple finish. It's considerably lighter than my LP studio, but the construction is totally solid. Knobs feel wonderful. This axe feels like it can take a beating, maybe its only Achille's heel is the plastic jackplate that can be replaced for a metal one for a few bucks. Frets are great, hardware is as sturdy as in any LP. Reliability How has it stood up over time? Got it 2 weeks ago and I can't put it down. This one is becoming one of my main guitars. The playability of a LP with a singing P-90s sound. A beautiful middle point between humbuckers and single coils… General Your general opinion of this product. Amazing. An American-made Gibson for under a grand. I heard these have a limited run, so fetch yours while you can. Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? Fast! The neck is considerably slimmer than a LP studio's (I heard the 50s tribute has a chunkier neck). The baked maple looks nice and feels slightly smoother than rosewood. Bending and holding notes is pure joy. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? Being my first p-90s guitar I can say the the pups sound louder and growlier than I had expected. Love 'em!. My problem with the LP studio is that the neck pup is way to boomy and low-endy. The p-90s sound rich in the middle range and it's one of the best tones I have in my 10ish-guitar collection. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? The honeyburst finish is gorgeous. The combination with the cream pups and pickguard matches really well. Getting a cream truss rod cover to add a nice detail :) Action How was the action out of the box? The guitar was great to play right out of the box. The action was slightly high for my taste, so I lowered the bridge. The stock 0.9 strings were replaced by 10s.

General Your general opinion of this product. Great all around guitar. Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? Feels and plays like a chambered les Paul with the 60's neck. Perfect!! Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? See sound..... Finish How did the stain or paint job look? The thin nitro is well applied with no orange peel, dust or other issues. Goldtop paint and back stain is fine with no bleeds. Action How was the action out of the box? Factory setup was perfect. No issues there.
