From the moment I took the guitar out of the box I was impressed with everything about this guitar. I love the fact that this guitar has been updated with good quality components such as the locking tuners the locking bridge and stop tail piece. The guitar neck feels great, the action was dead on and the volume and tone pots response is very accurate. The only thing is the guitar is expensive but definitely worth the money many times over. I would highly recommend this Gibson guitar to any level of player. Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? The guitar feels natural and it's not too heavy. The neck is very comfortable and the controls are very responsive and accurate. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? The tone of the guitar is warm and punchy, the pickups are very responsive to the controls, you can have them with high gain or turn back on the knobs to get a nice crunchy tone. Action How was the action out of the box? Action was perfect and intonation was dead on!
