Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? its well made, i mean for a little over 500 bucks you get what you pay for, but it feels great,,, Reliability How has it stood up over time? not sure yet only 2 months old!!!!!! im sure it will last Overall Your general opinion of this product. i like it,, low cost, no frills american made gibson,,,,,always wanted an explorer but since the holidays were here didnt want to shell out well over a grand,, purchased sight unseen, never even picked one up at a store,, read a buttload of reviews on this before i bought it,, Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? feels great, on the light side,, neck has a nice width, not too skinny or too fat, the one volume control is easy to roll off when needed, Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? bright and snappy,,,, like i said i got one with an original gibson pickup,,,,, Finish How did the stain or paint job look? for sure they saved on the satin paint job, but i like it, no heavy gloss, and i love the smell of brand new white gibsons!!!!! hopefully after 20 years or so the finish will start to check,,,,,, Action How was the action out of the box? great, for my tastes, usually i get my gtrs set up after purchase, but since this has a wraparound bridge and the action was decent i just left it as is,,
