General What is your overall opinion of this product? I was nervous about buying such an expensive guitar online and also worried about how blemished the Gibson j45 true vintage might be. I was shocked on how little the blemishes were and truly excited that I bought such a fine guitar from AMS and would not hesitate to buy another scratch and dent item.Saved me close to 2000 dollars if I would have purchased new with tax from music store. Was in better condition than a floor model was built from manufacture only 10 months ago.Truly a great experence. Quality What is your opinion of the quality of this product? How does it work for different genres of music? The product stands for it self it is the main stay since the 40 s Feel Was it easy to reach the strings? How comfortable was the playing position? action was perfect. Tone Is the tone well balanced? How does it project? great tone that great strings only make better Finish How did the stain or paint job look? incredible for supposedly a scratch and dent. Value Did you get what you were expecting for the price? How does it compare to similar products in the same price range? even lower than expected. Playability How was the action out of the box? great!!!

Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? The quality of this handmade acoustic from Bozeman, MT is unbelievable. From the vintage headstock to the strap button, every detail is meticulusly crafted. Even the bracing shows no signs of excess hide glue. And the smell... Heaven! General Your general opinion of this product. This guitar has lived up to its reputation. It's American craftsmenship is superb and it definately looks, feels, smells and plays like a guitar that is 40 years old. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? The tone is what this guitar is all about. Dark responsive, woody low end, with a huge amount of headroom. The Adi top growls with just the slightest fingering and delivers plenty a Gibby Punch with a pick. This guitar is made to deliver that warm, punchy low and midrange. The high end is not overly bright as one familiar with Rosewood bodies would say, but is well balanced to the overall tone of the mahogany body. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? The finish on the guitar is stunning. Nobody does a burst better than Gibson period. The nitro finish is so thin that you can actualy see the ripples in the grain of the wood. All of the wood components are made from the finest cuts and it shows, from the beatuiful rosewood grain of the finger board and bridge to the red spruce top. In a word, magnificant!
